For me the beauty of yin and yang exists in the second word: not yang so much as and. The and is implied when written in Chinese: 陰陽 which makes it even more beautiful to me. In the west it seems the tendency is to divide. This is clear when listening to phrases such as black or white and mind over body. This division is the basis for being exclusive. It leads to war which is failure. Why not be inclusive and let the ors and overs just be ands? In the end the world is black and white, and grey, and green, etc. Why not let the mind and body live together in peace?
