out of the stars. Hey guys! It’s been awhile, hasn’t it?

Ok, so first thing first, I know I haven’t been active on here since summer started, and now I’m nearly half-way through my break. I’ve been all over the place and have been feeling pretty depressed lately. For the record, I’ve also been pretty insecure about the way I portray gr!Dipper, as I’ve said before I’m not a fan of sorophora’s version that much. (Just minor details honestly, such as I don’t like the idea of the darker/different plot but I do prefer pure roleswap) and since I’m--as far as I know--the only gr!Dipper roelplay bog on tumblr, I have a tendency to feel I’m a disappointment or not what people were expecting. (And even if there were someone else, I’m not sure that’ll make me feel any more motivated, either.) 

However, I HAVE been really active on @optiistar though! It’s probably because this blog went through many changes since I was learning, while I feel my Mabel one got off on a more stable foot, haha. If you’d guys like, you can follow me there!

This is not goodbye, but everyone loses their muse eventually. But this is just temporarily, I’ll be back on here soon!

    Dipper nods silently, contemplating all that his younger counterpart said to him. Sounded similar to what happened to his shift a couple of years ago; a bit of animosity and bad meetings between families. “And Mabel?” He asks carefully, wanting to give them the chance of things things not going as insane as they did in his side of the world. “How’s– uh– you’re relationship with her?”

   Because from what he remembers, as soon as Ford entered his life, Dipper got a bit more… reclusive. He can’t even begin to imagine what he put Mabel through.

❝ It’s going ALRIGHT, I guess. ❞ He lightly shrugged, his smile fading as he forcefully shoved his numb hands into his shorts pockets. ❝ I’m WORRIED about her, though. She’s been pretty paranoid lately. Ever since the portal incident her emotions have been kind of imbalanced... she’s also been spending a GREAT sum of her time with Grunkle Stan...❞

Through grit teeth, he let a momentarily pause of silence go between them before he spoke up, smiling again, now slightly forced.

❝ How ‘bout your Mabes? Does she like stickers? Oh! Does she keep a SCRAPBOOK as well? ❞

“Woah..! Dipper slow down!" 

She was barely awake and here she was being dragged down the halls at seemingly, lightening fast speeds! She had almost run into the wall twice… Whatever this thing must be, it’d better be good! ...Then again when has he ever disappointed her?

Dipper BEAMED with pride, practically running at the speed of light down the hallway as he pulled her along. Laughing, he came to a halt in front of a large wooden door, covered in layers of dust with a single spiderweb at the top.

❝ Ok, so I was opening random doors because I’m a creep. ❞ Dipper started, giving a obvious smile as he shrugged. ❝ When I found something A M A Z I N G in here! Check it out! ❞ With barley any more patience, he grabbed the knob and enthusiastically yanked the door open, to a strange narrow hallway.

In one choking second of TERROR, Dipper drew back in immediate fear, SHAKING his head away from the demons touch. ❝ I’m in a much better place now! ❞ He shakily protested, adrenaline pumping through him at ridiculous speeds. He knew he was never going to get a solid answer out of the demon, but he continued to yell out questions that were ENDLESSLY forming in his brain.

    “Kinda,” Dipper explains in his best vague hand gesture indicating so-so. “Back in my reality, Ford was the one stuck in the portal for 30 years & Stan ran the Mystery Shack, which is a tourist trap, by the way.” He says, thinking that the thought of it being a museum was more appealing, and yet he knows that it would have never made as much money. “But yeah, I was just asking because I don’t know you also had a big reveal about the whole thing.”

❝ Oh yeah. ❞ Dipper agreed, nodding enthusiastically as he continued to walk forward, arms outstretched as if he was balancing on a beam. ❝ There was this entire portal deal, and it almost destroyed the WHOLE TOWN! ❞

Stan running the shack sounded pretty cool, but he already somewhat knew what that must've been like. ❝ Ever since he came back, he’s kinda just been running the museum, disapproving of Ford’s business methods and all. ❞ He continued, shrugging slightly. ❝ Ford still runs it, but he’s been in so much of a daze lightly that Grunkle Stan’s been throwing in some of his own ideas, I guess. ❞

This was a tough one… She’s never been out in public for a gathering like this. What if she makes a fool of herself? What if she embarrasses Dipper?! …Still… Dipper really wanted her to go… She couldn’t disappoint him… He is her only friend….

❝ YES! ❞ He cheered in success, nearly falling over as he rose his hand to fist-bump the air, almost knocking himself down. He certainly didn’t expect the answer she gave him, and it almost felt too good to be true.

❝ I know parties aren’t your thing, but trust me, you’ll love this one! ❞ He exclaimed, grabbing her hand as he prepared to run forward, before he stopped with a realization.

❝ Wellll, the parties actually in an hour or two... ❞ He admitted, a nervous laugh escaping him. ❝ Do you head to your house to get ready, or just head to my place? ❞
