HELLO!!!

My name is Hyugo Sugimoto, I am 22 years old and a university student!! You don't need to know where I'm not trying to get stalked. I like detective movies, and video games, and desserts! I also play oboe!!!

Honestly, not too sure what I'll post here, but I thought it would be fun!! I've also dragged my best friend Sol here btw. He's here too.

Hey hey!! OOC text will be in bold and green like this. This blog is for the character Hyugo Sugimoto from the kid at the back, but is not entirely canon compliant, neither to the character or the story. This rp does have a Sol specific ( @sunny-sol-up ) and does plan to become Sol x Hyugo in the future (there is more information on that in my Sol specific's intro post). I have also included my headcanons for Hyugo, some major ones being that he has ADHD, is hyperempathetic (especially towards Sol) and is an oboe player/band kid!!

As for boundaries, tkatb is a horror game so not much to say there. Flirting is accepted, but personally I don't think Hyugo is very good at it. Do with that what you will.

Hyugo is fine. We've just been busy, now planning a meet up with my younger brother actually.

I haven't spoken to him in a while, given everything going on. I'm sure it will be nice though.

The concert went well overall, I didn't mess up on my oboe solo in the band which was amazing because I really thought I would. Kinda let the clarinet down in my duet with them for wind ensemble, if you're seeing this I'm sorry I'll lock in next time 🙏🙏

We will not be talking about my voice cracks in choir.

I had a good time tho, it's fun to hang out with my music friends!! I've never felt so intensely watched while performing though.

How has living with Sol been? Also, who’s house sitting your place?

Nothing's changed about living with Sol since I last posted. He's fine. It's all fine.

I have people who are making sure my house stays safe, there are also cameras. If any funny business happens, I will know.

I have my concert in a week. I'M SO SCARED. This is the most complex solo I've ever had and I know I've got it down but I still could fuck up. I've been practicing so much that it's probably drove poor Sol insane with the repetition. I should probably start using the practice rooms more.

What things do you like most about Sol?

That would be difficult to answer, I feel like many things I say would be pretty obvious, but I'll try.

He remembers a lot of details about me, if I mention wanting something but not wanting to buy it I will have it as a gift in a fairly short amount of time. I like his cooking, the way his food feels like home. I like his art, the way he portrays emotions so beautifully through his drawings and the amount of care and detail he puts into them.

I like the way he never made me feel like I was too much. He puts up with my rambles and my bursts of energy even when I know he's exhausted. He's always there for me, even when occupied by...others. He's always understood me very well.

I like many things about Sol. I'm sorry I couldn't narrow it down very well.

Can’t hear as much but that’s not important anymore. I’m doing ok. Thank you for just existing in my lifeline. I don’t interact with certain individuals anymore!

Thank you so much!! I'll try to describe it as best as I can.

I honestly think I just got lucky with the conditioner I use, it's great. I wash my hair every few days. I dye it whenever I see any fading. I've had blue hair for YEARS and honestly just would not feel right without it.

As for styling, I use a hair straightner (with heat protectant) to get the flicks on my front pieces, and then coat myself in hairspray and try not to breathe it in.

Hello. How are you doing?

Are you sleeping okay at Sol’s place?

I'm doing okay, thanks for asking. My sleep is alright, I do make sure I don't leave Sol for too long, even to sleep, and I've always had difficulty sleeping, but it's not really any worse than usual. Sol's bed is actually very comfortable, and I always sleep better when I'm around him.

Are you ever worried about missing class? I get super anxious after missing even one class so I was wondering if you feel like that too sometimes?

I mean, Sol is my priority. Of course I do worry, I have a reputation for being a top student, and missing class is not what most would expect from me. But if it means I get to make sure Sol is okay, I don't really care. It's not like I'm missing much anyway, I can catch up in my own time if the subject interests me enough.

Don't stress about missing class a few times, school puts way too much pressure on us and I don't think anyone with perfect attendance is actually human. As long as you catch up on what you missed, you should be fine!!!

How is living with Sol going?

It's nice for the most part, just miss my own bed sometimes. I don't mind sleeping on the couch though. I'm honestly just glad I can keep an eye on Sol, and I hope he appreciates my company. Also gives me an excuse to have his cooking all the time!! On days where he can cook, of course.

Life kinda sucks right now.

If I'm honest, I'm not sure I'm the best person to ask. I kinda just...fake it till I make it?? If you surround yourself enough positivity it should rub off onto you. Right? I don't know. I have ADHD myself, and I know it's not the same struggle, but I understand struggling to be happy. Helping other people works too. If I make someone else feel happy then I feel happier myself.
