Ya girl had to be rescued by the water police 😅So basically I was having a blast on the paddle board. This is my first time riding on one and I was doing pretty decent. I had fallen a couple of times but I managed to get back on, paddle in hand. This time though, I basically flipped myself backwards and the paddle board. Try as I might, I couldn’t flip it back over without using both my hands. So I made the choice to let go of the paddle (assuming it floated) and I managed to get the board right side up. But I couldn’t find the paddle, so I assumed it made its way under so I climbed my ass back on. Once on top, I reached under and the paddle was no where to be see, I even stood back up to look and nothing (I even fell off again 🙄) . It had sunk. Of course, I’m on the other side of the world away from the boat but I steeled myself for the long trek back. I probably got half way, and boy was I tired. Luckily, the water cops glided up, and asked if I needed help. I told them that I lost my paddle but my boat was over that way. They asked me if I wanted to be helped back and I was really tempted to say “thanks, but no thanks” but my arms told me to stop being prideful and accept the help.
