So, in my digging through the Potionomics game files I found something fantastic: failsafe dialogue that triggers when you walk into a competition with literally zero potions.

And every boss round has unique dialogue for it! The devs prepped for a scenario that I can't imagine triggers in normal gameplay because you'd have to actively go out of your way to have nothing in your inventory. Like you'd have to deliberately sell or trash every potion you own the night before.
