Obviously, this is a blog dedicated to the BBC TV Series 'Merlin' and Colin Morgan. I post mostly edits that I did myself [the photos are still not mine of course], and I reblog anything that is Merlin and Colin Morgan. You know how rare it is for us to get a glimpse of how Merlin is supposed to be this "most powerful sorcerer that walked the earth" like most of the time his powers consist of hurling people in the air, making their enemies drop their weapons, etc etc but then we have *SPOILERS IF YOU'RE NOT YET IN SEASON 5* Season 5's The Kindness of Strangers where this woman unfailingly showed how revered Merlin really is and he's really this powerful sorcerer but I think what really held him back was the writers I mean I love them for coming up with the show but somehow the show never really reached its full potential but I really love how they made the final episode so I'm still okay with it

Merlin, or Myrddin, is thought have died in either 584, or was turned into a tree or trapped in a cave of diamonds years before this, so he would have(I think) predated Hogwarts, but he may have trained Slytherin himself.
