Hi, I’m Sui! Currently studying in the Netherlands. Recently obsessed with Namikawa × Mido(and I’m also a yumejoshi for both of them), though I sometimes draw other Yotsuba members too!

I actually started crying while drawing this… Mido…

The original version has him sitting down, but when I tilted the image, it somehow started looking like he was walking beside you and talking to you. I love it so much.

Why does this always make me feel so sad…?

Over the past few months, I’ve found myself wondering again and again whether my feelings for Mido himself have come to outweigh my feelings for the ship as a whole.

I want Mido to be loved by Namikawa.

But even more than that, I want him to be seen and loved as Mido, even outside of his relationship with Namikawa.

And yet, no matter where I look, it’s so hard to find people who came to love Mido for who he is.

I wonder how many people only noticed Mido—the handsome one in the Yotsuba group—because they wanted someone to ship with Namikawa.

Before I knew it, this strange urge to protect him, and this growing favoritism toward him, had only become stronger…

I want to see more love directed at Mido himself.

May there be more of it from now on.

Please.

I’m so glad I finally made the decision today to completely cut ties with a group of people (or fandom?) that had been troubling me for a long time.

I feel so much lighter now. Months of tormenting and punishing myself are finally over.

Seeing the recent controversy over an BG original creator banning BL fanworks made me think about doujinshi for some reason.

So many doujinshi are scanned, digitized, and uploaded online in bulk. Honestly, it makes me deeply uncomfortable. Calling it “a labor of love” or saying it’s “non-profit” doesn’t change what it is—it still violates the rights and boundaries of the people who created those books.

Sometimes, the whole point of making a physical book is to keep it circulating within a limited, specific space. And yet even that can’t protect it from eventually being digitized and spread everywhere. It’s honestly just sad.

Yes just find a new way to paint.

When the sun is setting and the evening light hits your window, you can paint on the glass with water.
