I wanted to do a horror-ethereal-suggestive art for it and I'm sorry it took so long and you're already on chap 18 lol. I couldn't decide on how I felt abt it, it went through a couple stages. I was trying to evoke the imprisonment Shadow is trapped in with this story, all laced in gold and horror, but also like... he's so jaded by this point too lmao.

(I remember a post you made about Balled of the Golden Phantom colours being brown, gold and black in your mind, so I went with that colour palette 👌)

I was heavily, HEAVILY inspired by Bedroom Hymns, because if there was ever a song that vibes 'Im banging the ghost of my dead lover in the ethereal astral plane' its that. It goes so hard. I hope you like!
