No Unsung Story
Yarrow sat on the bench, his elbows on his knees and hands clasped together as he looked at the wall. Every inch was scrawled in rows of pictures and stories of Freelancers. Each one a legend of their own kind, each one both friend and family. Each story broke his heart more. Each rising star extinguished before they could find their place in Fort Tarsis. He rubbed the link with his thumb, “Another story to add… another Lancer snuffed out.” With heavy hands and heart, he scratched the story into the wall, both a song of praise and cautionary tale.
