Quick illustration about a headcanon I have for jax/lily based on the “room full of Jax’s scene” (idk what else to call it) in episode 9. explanation below!! ^_^

Disclaimer: I am fried by finals week so I might not be great at wording this LOL.

I noticed a much softer and meeker version of Jax playing the piano but the other Jax’s demeaned and belittled her. This was the same Jax who gave Pomni the key. I can’t help but wonder if Jax truly loved music but is ashamed and repressed that part of her. She has a history of repressing her true self, as we all know.

I like to imagine she would learn to embrace her passion for music and not be so ashamed anymore when she starts transitioning. Of course it takes time, but she learns to embrace all parts of herself. I could get deeper into it but that’s the gist of it!

I am working on a comic about it but it’s gonna take a long while and I have a LOT of stuff on my plate rn… but I’ll try to keep you guys updated… ^_^

I'm fascinated by how the animators for TADC handle Caine's impossible anatomy so well. There's so much to balance and they've somehow engineered a solution for his expressions to hold during speech.

I also traced Caine answering the phone from episode 4 to demonstrate his phonemes and mouth shapes.
