When people complain that the animation quality of MHA doesn't quite live up to the manga, this is what they're talking about. Although to be fair, most of this hasn't been animated yet and Bones has been cooking pretty hard with season 7. I'm eager to see how the second half of the war arc turns out.

I think the most fucked up part about My Hero's ending is that Izuku is genuinely not even phased by One For All being gone. From the moment he got it to the moment he lost it, he truly believed it wasn't his and that he didn't deserve it. That his dream was always borrowed, and never his own. He never recovered from his past, he truly believed he could not be a hero without a quirk. He never got the help he really needed.

In that way, it actually is really nice that everyone helped him get the robotic suit so he could become a hero again. In a way, Katsuki extending his hand for Izuku to join him in heroics is a way of righting the wrongs of the past, and encouraging him to be a hero without a quirk.

Fucked up.
