put another 1 beside that and u have 11 (bear with me here but) i am getting so emotional over the symbolism of it all that both of them will continue to support and stand by each other side by side no matter what paths they tread on as they get older CRIES i love their brotherhood sm they make me such a sobbing mess 😭

cry over the fact how much hands play a very huge factor in the twins' chosen careers and how much taking care of these hands is essential for them

sob thinking abt that little triangle that forms whenever a setter positions their hands up while looking up at the ball waiting for it to touch their fingertips.

how the volleyball positions itself perfectly in place at the center, resembling umeboshi and how that ball is enveloped by that triangle formed by their hands.

that sight must remind atsumu of onigiri-- of his brother who makes onigiri for a living-- doesn't it?

how these rice balls are made with so much love and attention to detail

those hands that used to spike and set volleyballs, now form small circles to make the perfect and delicious riceballs

the onigiris he makes, to feed and help his brother build muscle, to play even better, to be even stronger

bawl at how these subtle change in the shape of their hands hold such significant meaning for them both

that eventhough they are now treading on different career paths, they are still bound and connected by the same thing: volleyball and food

aaaaa rly sorry i only managed to answer this now ;-; im still figuring out how to color myself so take these tip/s i give u w a grain of salt cuz im still learning ^^

one tip i can give and this is sumth i apply mostly in my process is that less is better!!

using as little colors as possible helps in making ur entire illustration look cohesive!! it also lessens ur stress from picking out what colors to use (cuz lbr, w so many colors on the color wheel to choose from, it can get rly overwhelming ;-;)

i use around 4-5 (or add one more if i feel like it) for my base

this doesnt necessarily mean that u are only limited to use those amount of colors in ur work!! NO NO -- from those main color schemes that u've chosen, thats when u can start branching out different hues by sliding around the color wheel within the range of those main colors (idk if that made sense im sorry ;0;) FOR SHORT ANALOGOUS AKHFKJAFA

it's easier to make color choices that way especially if u dont understand color theory like i do lol

(but fr for the most part ive mostly just been finessing and experimenting the colors i use lol) WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY FINE BTW!!!!!! EXPERIMENTING IS FUN AND W DIGITAL ART THERE'S SO MUCH U CAN LITERALLY DO TO HELP U FIGURE OUT HOW TO IMPROVE UR COLORING!!!

if u have trouble figuring out what colors to use, using gradient maps and picking up palettes on pinterest is definitely a good starting point ^^
