For me, The Man is so important for many reasons. I was a math education major in college. I had to take many of the same classes as math majors. Often times I was one of the few females in class and was often looked down upon like I wasnโt as capable as the males in the class even though I worked just as hard as them. Then, when I started teaching last year, i was the only female on my department team and atleast 10 years younger than the next youngest teacher. Oftentimes I was looked down on as the young girl who didnโt know anything. Men need to know that females are as smart as them and as capable no matter how young we are! โIf I was a man, Iโd be the man!โ
