Jihao had been awake for three days straight running errands and weapons for Jiwon, and now, he was going to finally go to sleep. His patience was running thin, his heart was beginning to beat out of rhythm, and his entire body ached. He wanted sleep, he wanted a warm body. He wanted something to happen in his life that wasn’t the same running errands because while he loved Jiwon, sometimes he wanted something a little more exciting. Finally back in their territory, he knew he could relax without anything happening. No one wandered into their territory unless they had a death wish, not that Jihao would ever hurt someone just for being in the wrong place. That was more Maddox or Minjae. Definitely not him. When a body collided with his own it sent him collapsing to the ground as well, spinning around, ready to hurt someone. The look on the other’s face immediately caused him to stop. The scared, confused look wasn’t something he could take advantage of. He could hear the cocking of guns off to the side, knowing full-well Maddox was around a corner, waiting on Jihao’s signal to take care of the intruder in their territory. He held his hand up, a signal to wait, and he reached out, arm on the other boy’s shoulder. “You’re in Anonymous territory, man.” Voice soft, not wanting to scare the other male. The gold in his eyes was enticing and Jihao couldn’t tear his eyes away. “I can get you out, but you’ll have to trust me. I don’t know where home is, so you’ll have to tell me okay?” Trust was always Jihao’s downfall. Always would be.
His ear twitch at the sound of guns, and in his head he cursed his alpha for not allowing him one. Anonymous territory. The words bounced around Liam’s head, sounding unfamiliar as he thought them over and over. Finally he managed to speak. “Anonymous as in unknown? Or is that the name of a gang?” It wasn’t sarcasm and he really hoped it wasn’t received as such.
The gold in his eyes stayed now, threatening more dangerous shifting if he didn’t get out of there soon. “Lycans. Lycan territory. That’s home. I-I was running for about two hours when I ended up here. We’ve got to be far away. Hai is the alpha…the leader. I need to get to Hai.”
He fell to the ground, groaning as he shook. “Better yet, have you got a sturdy building and some chains maybe? I-I don’t have a lot of time. I don’t want to hurt anyone. I didn’t come here to trespass it was an accident but I need help!” He tried to focused on the tired beating of the other’s heart, something to anchor him, help him hold on to his humanity.
“I’ll trust you if you trust me. A whole lot of people are going to get hurt if you don’t get me out of here. I can’t control it. Not without Hai. I shouldn’t have wandered on the full moon I don’t know why I did something so stupid!”
Jihao's smile reached all the way into his eyes at the words of the other male. He knew they were well-known, so he didn't know how the boy couldn't know who they were. Nonetheless, he seemed more confused than anything, so he couldn't think that he was being sarcastic. "The name of a gang." He let out a small laugh, fingers carding through his own hair as he fought to keep his eyes open. Focusing on the gold shine in the other male's eyes, he jumped a little at the word. Lycan. Werewolves. Was he serious? The panicked look on the boy's face told him he was. Now more curious than afraid, he raised an eyebrow, crouching down and putting a hand on the other's shoulder. "Calm down, it's okay. We'll figure this out. We'll get you somewhere safe." He mentioned hurting other people and Jihao's entire body tightened. He glanced around, hoping that Axel would mind his own business long enough for him to get this guy somewhere enclosed. They had a few warehouses in the territory that had old jail cells, the sturdy, iron kind. He wondered if that would work for him. "I don't know where the Lycan territory is. But I think I've got somewhere here you can stay for the night to get you out of the open, if that helps?" He bit his lip, looking around again. "I trust you. And I don't think you want to hurt anyone. So we're gonna get you somewhere safe, okay?"
