WORKING OUT!

Just went back to my workout routine and I guess no more food trips and vices until I get my shape back! Lol. I guess I really need more time to allot for getting me back on track with the workouts. And maybe a little time a day wouldn’t hurt if I go to squats and crunches from time to time. All of us can say we got a lot to do, we don’t have time for anything else especially exercises. But excuses are the best flab makers! It could even be above the steaks and burgers! So don’t make any excuse! Get up there and start working your ass off!

I have a lot to burn and shape up if I want to be in those skinny jeans and sexy over-alls. Skinny jeans are utmost sexier when worn if you got something to fill it with, especially the back part. Now that my friend, is my goal. I have not been blessed with a bootylicious body but I can achieve it with discipline and perseverance! You can too! We don’t need miracles or sky high prayers to get our dream body shapes. Just remember: DISCIPLINE and PERSEVERANCE. Time? You have 24 hours per day! Everyone has the same hours you have! All you need is a little time management. Give your squats at least 10-15mins a day. Would that be too much for your “busy” and “hectic” schedule? I don’t think so. :)

Come around and workout with me. Who knows? You might even be a workout enthusiast and get to make your other peeps on it and make your group as sexaaaay! ;)

I LOVE TO SHOP ONLINE-II

Because I am such an online computer addict, from online games, RPG, LAN games to browsing and web surfing, I have come to learn that there are so many online shops for all sorts of wants and needs any person could ever wish for! And that is when I have learned too that most of the people having to wear clothes that are incredibly unique and stylish, are those bought online. Since clothing from the malls and all other shops you see outside your home are mass produced, you tend to see a lot of people, both men and women, having the same outfit as yours. And it is truly a piss off.

So right there and then, I first only browsed each item on every online shop I could click into and look unto clothes, gadgets, accessories, shoes, gift items and so much more!

Let’s have a little Consideration 101 on the pros and cons of purchasing items virtually.

So here are some tips and my personal considerations you might want to know before getting totally hooked into buying stuff online (or even selling). So these tips are all based from my own personal experiences throughout my online shopping addiction.

Know if the seller is LEGIT. - Legit means, real, true, not bogus or FAKE. I know you’re wondering how would you know if they are? Well you would! You could look up their photos uploaded if there are past customer testimonials, how long were they selling online, are there any loyal customers already than you can ask if they were properly given attention and were they satisfied, how many followers comment and talk to the seller (and especially if they communicate on comments too!), see if the seller posts photos of transaction or shipping stubs and most importantly, look at their profile information if they have a certain BFAD approval in order for them to be considered a legit online shop.

Know how the transactions take place. - Be aware not only of bogus buyers, but also a widely spreading bogus sellers! I’ve been fooled once and I never intend that to happen. EVER AGAIN. It’s better if their payment modes are gone through banks.

Learn the price ranges. - Even though these online shops are legit and are has great PR on all their clients, as a Filipina, I still carry the practice of being practical and reasonable on everything I buy. Which I why before I intend to buy anything from the online market, I gather info first on how much they are sold in offline markets. I take into consideration the product price, place of the offline shop (for transportation purposes and of course, my efforts to go there) and how much is the difference if I bought from an offline store compared to an online store. I compare it up and decide from there. Sometimes, I tend to compare online shops to other online shops, asking myself which is cheaper with the total cost (product price plus shipping price) and who has the least time frame in getting the product.

Always be sure on personal information. - By saying personal information, I mean not only your name, address, gender, birth date or first crush. I’m stating ALL personal information that the seller needs in order to provide you the excellent service they could give even if they’re an online shop. These typically include your sizes (if clothing and shoes), specified color choice (be very specific! And if you are not sure if you would like the color, never be afraid or shy to ask the seller all questions, as long as they can be answered accordingly.), and lastly. product material (this would be very sensitive for clothing, some might look very pretty in pictures, but when you get the product, it’s not what you though it would be.).

Be very specific and do not be too naggy. - You never know when someone is having a really bad day, especially if you’re talking to at least 30 strangers in a day! So don’t be pissed off if the seller doesn’t respond like how you and your friends exchange text messages. They don’t want to keep you waiting, but there’s nothing you can do but wait in line til they serve you. That’s how shops work right?

Now those are some of the tips I have thought of sharing with you. I have a lot more things to share but then maybe you should go and seek out some of it for yourself. Experience is the best teacher, but don’t make me say “I told you so.” if you won’t put a little thought on my advices. I LOVE TO SHOP ONLINE! :)

The past weeks, I managed to fulfill my personal food cravings! From beverages to full meals, desserts and snacks, I took it all in!

I am a bit of a coffee addict since I was in the fifth grade. I loved it all! From hot or cold or hot that went cold, 3-in-one coffee instant drinks, roasted coffee or even coffee candies! You name it! I won’t let even one pass without me getting a taste of it. But then, everything that is too much is always harmful. I decided to refrain from drinking too much coffee when I stepped into my fourth year in high school. Why? I got too jumpy and nervous on almost everything, too much adrenaline and most days, coffee has become my bed time buddy. I couldn’t sleep without two cups of coffee every night. I bacame dependent on it and worse, I became over drinking. I had drinking problems. It was such a waste. I got too "TH" on people.. Feeling ko lahat ng tao gugulatin ako. Nervousness never left my side. I didn’t want that. So eventually, I stopped. But now, I drink coffee again but limited it from time to time. It not only affects you mentally, but physically as well, (especially frappucinos and sweet hot coffees, it will def make you a fatty! But black coffee with no cream and sugar. I think it doesn’t make that result.)

But going back to my story on food cravings. I had become a regular Starbucks customer again in SM North Edsa, specifically located at the mall’s Sky Garden. I study and read most of the time there and even let time pass. I get relaxed on their vicinity once again just like the good old days with my friends. But now, its only me. I craved coffee almost 4 times a week, so I go there when I have the time off from school. With the past months, I have spent my allowance on almost every coffee listed on their menu. But one of the best one was worth the wait!

Why? It’s tasty, (for me and I love having those on my drink!) and takes out the "umay factor" you get when you drink too much frappucinos. :))

When? It was only out in the menu last July 17, 2013.

BE SEXY!

A lot of people, no matter what age or generation, are mostly intohealth, beauty and fitness. And honestly, I am one of those people. I’m going to be starting my old workout routine again that I had stopped for 2 months now. My workout really worked wonders for me. It’s easy and economical. I don’t go to the gym and pay unreasonable membership fees and I don’t have any “cheat days” like other people who are conscious with their bodies. I eat anything I want, when I want. I don’t watch my calories per day and downloading calorie tracker apps. But even though, I make sure I burn it all the next day. All you need is a little time, a lot of discipline and pure determination to reach your goal, which is to become fit and tight.

My body doesn’t really go that fat anymore, but all the food I digest goes directly to my stomach and sadly, it stays there. So one of my problems is having a big tummy and we all know that it doesn’t look good. Next is, I wasn’t blessed with bootylicious genes, so I don’t have the confidence to do booty shakes. Hahaha! Kidding aside, it doesn’t look that nice when wearing jeans or shorts if you don’t have any booty to flaunt. And another thing that my genes have given me are slim thighs, which is sometimes a problem. Why? Because the skinny jeans I wear, instead of looking just skinny, I look skinnier because my jeans look loose on my things. It doesn’t fill my jeans well which makes me at times look like a walking stick when wearing those kinds of jeans.

Children, as said by the Holy Bible itself, always have a special place in heaven beside our good Lord. No child shall be prosecuted nor torn in pieces for they are more than worthy of God’s love and abiding presence. He shall treasure them as he treasures his angels and saints. These children are His blessings to the world.

Children that are not physically and mentally handicapped are more than just blessings from God. They are our angels sent on our land to prove that God’s love is real. They love you for who you are and they will love you unconditionally because they do not understand physical beauty. What the know is spiritual and heartfelt love that us normal people, with not one handicap on physical and emotional, cannot see nor give. They are those children who will no longer have any problem to enter the kingdom of heaven. The gates of glory and holiness is upon them fromthe day they were molded by God.

So let us learn through them and give yourself and all other people the chance to love them like how we want to be loved.

WE'RE WILLING TO HELP :)

Its such a shame that the government still doesn’t have enough facilities and proper way to make Elsie Gaches Village be better known in the country, or let’s make it a bit more intact, in the Metro Manila area! And another thing is, why is it that the children and other elderly people that resides in Elsie Gaches not given the right amount of care, from facilities to medication, knowing that there are already contributors and people who give out donations through different forms.

One thing that really got on my nerves was this story I just got to hear last night. It was when my mom had went to the place a few weeks back, like she has been doing with my stepdad for quite some time now, and she gave the envelope of cash that is their donation for the children and told the managing person to use the money to buy medicine for those in need of medication inside the facility. The woman said she will send my mom a letter soon with the receipt of the purchased medicines, which they said will be specifically bought from Mercury Drugstore, to be able to assure my mom that the money will really become something to be useful for everyone in the home. My mom agreed and they eventually finished their conversation. My mom waited and waited. Not one text, call or lettr has arrived for her after 2 weeks of waiting. Though because of her busy schedule, she could not attend to the area and ask about the issue personally.

I don’t know what will happen or what had even happened with the money. But one thing is for sure, the children and special people that are older should be given more attention than taking the donations for your own sake. Please. It is just so sickening to know the acts you can do. You can rob a bank but never rob a person with their hope to become better. And my advice to those who would be donating anything to any charitable institution, donate in the form of MATERIAL THINGS AND TANGIBLE THINGS THAT YOU KNOW CAN BE PUT TO USE IMMEDIATELY. It is not advisable to donate in monetary forms for it is the government’s obligation to fund the charity homes and give them their daily and regular needs. Be wise. These institutions, even if it is for the needy and special people, it is still run by the government. And wherever you may look, it would always seem clean but it never is.

HELPING HAND :)

There are a lot of people today whom even though you have given them what you can, and what they can use and deserve, they still give off those annoying smirks or fake smiles that are not and never will come from the heart. That is what people are nowadays. They won’t even bother really thanking you despite all your efforts to even give them something special.

But then yesterday, as I pass through the children at Elsie Gaches, while giving them little gifts I bought from a friend, you can see that their eyes sparkle with joy and their lips just want to make a smile from ear to ear. They say thank you a lot and some had even hugged me. I was so teary eyed and nevertheless, I can feel their loneliness when there is no one to come and visit them. I just hugged them back and told them to always be good and don’t be saddened for I will try to visit them as plenty more as I could. I just hope I could go back anytime to be able to cherish each day with these children. They are such little angels, even the hard headed ones became quiet and compelling to their emotions. You can see that they really want to give you back the kindness in the form of being grateful and polite. Nothing can make me want to exchange the memory I had with them.

A little time to give can be a moment you will cherish forever! Be grateful on what you have and always share it with others. Never be judgemental and hateful, also NEVER be pitiful for some people that you may pity on is more blessed than you are. Be kind, be gentle, love other people as you want to be loved. Give if you wish to receive and still continue to give even if you don’t receive. God bless us all!

MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Across the road from a posh shopping center in Alabang, Alabang Town Center (ATC), is a small community whose residents can never go to the mall. Tucked away behind the high concrete fences of Elsie Gaches Village (EGV), these children live out their lives away from society, which has cast them out for being mentally and emotionally handicapped.

In the Philippines, mentally challenged persons suffer the stigma of being outcasts because of their condition. The stereotype of the mentally challenged family member locked up in a dark room is a stark reality, the families hiding them out of shame. Those who can go out of the house are mocked by unsympathetic neighbors.

Because of their condition, some people forget that these children are human. They’ve lived in horrible conditions. And most of them were even abandoned by their own parents with reasons we cannot be jumping conclusions into. Life is unfair and always will be. But to these children, Elsie Gaches Village has served them new hope and a new beginning. They have found a family that will keep them close and will not treat them the way people outside their hopeful village would. They are properly taken care of and are given the opportunity to live as normal as they can like any other child could live on. It is not the children’s fault that they were born with this kind of state, being handicapped.

We can all make a difference and stand up for what is right. Elsie Gaches Village can make it all possible. We can all be a member of their family. All we have to do is devote ourselves in giving life and a brighter hope for these children’s faithfulness and future happiness.

HEARTMELTING :)

I have never been moved and saddened by children like this. Yes, I do have a soft spot for children that are cute, talented and “bibbo”. But what made my heart melt and want to just cry out of love and total appreciation of what I am, what I have become, and what I have in life, were the children of Elsie Gaches Village. I never saw children like this in person my whole life. I was so sad to see them in each of their own physical and mental states while adding up how they have been abandoned by their parents at such an early age. I couldn’t blame the parents for I know they wouldn’t have a choice if they would keep these children under their care, they wouldn’t last long.. The reason is very quite simple. POVERTY.

Yes most people don’t have jobs because the government cannot afford to give everyone stable jobs and a salary to support each of their families. But we shouldn’t put the blame on them. We should’ve disciplined ourselves to not become poor. If we were born poor, we should never settle with it and eventually die still being poor. And if we took our responsibilities and made them our guides toward the right path, there shouldn’t be any children and even people suffering from anything. Ever.

These children in Elsie Gaches Village were born with God’s reason. They were not born with these ailments and disabilities because they were unlucky. The truth is, they are the lucky ones. They are forever in God’s grace since the day they were molded in His hands. To cut this short. I want all of us to please pass on a little prayer to everyone and for everyone, not only for those in Elsie Gaches, but to everyone experiencing these ailments and disabilities that they would not feel alone and any different to any of us.

HAVE TO WAIT!

On my last blog about Xend Business Solutions, I have mentioned the poor service they have been giving me last week due to the VERY late, delayed and unprofessional work ethics they are giving off.

I’m unsatisfied and very impatient now that it has already been 4 days since the day it was shipped and supposed that the product should have been in my hands by now and is on use. Only a few hours left til the shipment time is over (which is basically 8pm max). If it doesn’t come by within that time frame. I don’t think I could even take this any more.

I really am furious not only because I didn’t get the product on time, but getting false hopes and promises from people that has the products I have BOUGHT AND PAID FOR. It’s not fair that they get to lose it or just plainly not care about it since it isn’t theirs. They have the responsibility to take care of our belongings as it is on its way to be delivered to the real owners. I don’t know why Xend has been very irresponsible with their actions, especially with me liking them already for the past few months. But now, everything just went down the drains.

POOOOOOORR SERVICE!!

I have gotten a bit pissed on this thing that has happened to me. With me blogging about other people’s negative comments towards Xend, now I have the same problem as well!

I have ordered again from the usual online shop I always get my skin products from. They have used Xend on shipping their products since they have opened their shop in Facebook and Instagram last February 2013. I have been receiving their products on time since day 1, which is last May of the same year. I haven’t had any problems since, until TODAY.

I should’ve received their package by now since it is Friday. They send out their shipments every Tuesdays and Thursdays and if within the Metro Manila area, you should receive your package within 24 hours. But hey, guess what? It’s already SATURDAY and my package still hasn’t arrived. I contacted the online shop yesterday, where I ordered my products from, at around 3pm (since I usually get my package at 2-3pm ever since so I thought it would arrive by that time span) and she said she will forward this concern on Xend immediately since she too was confused why I didn’t receive it just yet whilst her other clients already told her that they got theirs already. Then, after a few minutes, she told me that the courier hadn’t responded yet, but assured me to wait a bit more since the courier delivers as late as 7 in the evening. Still excited for my package, I waited. And waited. And waited.. Aaaaand it’s midnight!

I was so pissed off since I really needed the products that night. So I decided to tell the owner of the online shop again if she has anything up from Xend. She again responded that there is none. She told me to track it down on Xend’s website. And so I did. I typed down and entered my tracking number. But guess what again! IT CANNOT BE FOUND!! What the hell! It’s just so irritating that it has come to this. All my respect and supposedly “future use” of the courier service has very much depreciated to a negative 9999999! I decided to sleep it off after I have contacted the online shop again.

Then, this morning, I received a message from Michelle, the owner of the shop, that Xend told her that they couldn’t track my address. I got reaaaaaaally pissed off and very much infuriated about this. She told me that they don’t ship out on weekdays and I have to wait til Monday!

So let’s see if there would be any difference regarding this. I will make sure they will regret giving me this kind of service.

WAKE UP CALL!

"My objective for sharing my experience with you is NOT to mainly bash Xend. I hope that what happened between us will serve as a wake-up call for them and also, I hope that this story will serve as an eye-opener for all of us. For the consumers, we always have to fight for our rights. Let us not let our hard-earned money go to waste and if you know you are right, then fight for it. For the service providers, please value the importance of customer service. Always remember, it takes months, even years to build a good relationship but just one boo-boo to ruin it. Honesty is really the best policy.”

I don’t understand why I’m even blogging about this anymore. It has come to my realizations that Xend really has a lot of complaints from a lot of people from personal testimonials, blogs and social site’s comment boxes! They have a whole lot of explaining to do! I can’t believe how they have treated many clients UNFAIRLY. They should have changes by now! But then I have read and heard a lot of complaints from the past few years. Yes, not all businesses are perfect just like any person isn’t. But then, YOU are a courier service. You should know that you have very important parcels in your hands and these are trusted to you as your responsibility to let it be received on they hours you have promised. I have become fond of Xend since I have heard about this courier service from my personal experience from online shops. And I can’t believe that you have this such of a sucky service on the back of your business.

Hopefully you could clear your name back again on many clients you’ve let down and had disappointed. Hoping you could get this as something to ponder on and increase your company’s clients back again and help your company be back on track.

DISAPPOINTMENT! :I

I am just so disappointed with Xend as I have received and read many negative comments on different online shops and social networks. Their services were great, but now? Well, I can say that they have “so-so” collections, but the encoding of tracking numbers are usually delayed and the status NEVER changes from “picked up” even if they’re received. An increasing number of deliveries were very much DELAYED and a couple of packages were said to have been LOST and were NEVER delivered to clients (which is one reason why most online shops are backfired by negative issues by their customers as well!) Xend Business Solutions has very unsatisfactory customer service that automatically dishes out mechanical, unintelligent, scripted responses on everything sent to them. Their phone numbers? Basically, USELESS. Why? They NEVER answer calls.

However, some online shops, like my very favorite Mischka Derma Secret, is still using Xend and as I have asked the owner, she said she has not experienced delays and negative services with Xend, YET. I think that this issue is mainly caused by some fortuitous events or events we cannot do anything about especially its a bit of a bummer how we have a bipolar weather. Sometimes, it could be a reason if the parcels has too much value. If I would suggest, let’s stop complaining and just shift couriers for the meantime.

SHIPPING TIME! :)

As connected to my product, Mischka Derma Secret (which is an online shop), they use Xend as their mode of shipment to effectively ship their products to their clients around the country. Since I am thinking of opening up my own online shop (or probably be reselling), I will not only take into consideration to use Xend, but I WILL make them my shipment company to entrust my packages with.

Though Xend does not have any branch, only a main office in Metro Manila, they have pick-up crews that are assigned in every area that needs them. You use their online portal for all the transactions you have with them, from pick-up to delivery schedules with the use of their tracker and so much more!

Lastly, they give you free packaging materials and and waybills for your next shipment. (Less hassle!) Why? In this way, you can pack up your packages before hand so they can pick it up and deliver it right away! Useful and speedy! ;)

So if you’re an online shopper or a seller, I suggest you try Xend’s service on shipment. Fast. Reliable. Affordable.

SEXY BODY! :)

Though we eat right and workout our bodies on a regular basis, there are still irregularities on our skin that even if we get these nice cuts and curves throughout the workout regimens, we still tend to have spots that isn’t nice to see. Like what you say? I’m saying dark spots, cellulites and stretchmarks! Yeah? Now I think I got your attention.

Little skin disorientation is one big problem to every lady I know! However, I have learned that again, Mischka Derma Secret has the ultimate body shaping solutions for all of us! I have been cleaning my side table where I put all my beauty regimens for every day.
