Honestly just have to get this off my chest. 

I don’t see why me standing up for myself is a problem for some. I am only human. People are so used to artists pretending like they don’t see it and they don’t care. But I’m an artist who does care. I’ll be honest, I brush it off all the time but eventually it gets to me. You know why? Because here we are working our asses off, following our dreams, trying to move forward and inspire others and this random person filled with hate and negativity comes discrediting all of our hard work, calling us disrespectful things, comparing us, spamming our timeline with BS and etc. when they don’t even personally know us or our story or what we’ve been and are going through. 

Lucky for me, I get so much more positive and loving support from my amazing fans than I do hate from outsiders. I don’t ignore the love and positivity. I appreciate those posts more than you know. I just think its important as a role model to show my fans something Ive learned in life growing up having been bullied and not always being the most confident.

This goes for everyone. NEVER be the person to start problems with people, there is no need. Treat others the way you want to be treated. If the day come when someone wants to disrespect you or make you feel small, have the strength to fight back and stand up for yourself. Put them in their place, then move on and be done with it. Don’t ever let anyone walk all over you. You are worth so much more than that.
