Got damn it was early as hell, I checked my phone and I had gotten a text from Michael saying that we wanted to wake and bake. Shit, free weed and free dick, what girl can complain. I wrapped my freshly blonde hair up, put on my blue varsity jacket to match my dark jean shorts and blue Jay’s and headed out the door.
I had picked up my car from my dad’s house when he wasn’t there, so I wouldn’t bother Arie for bumming a ride. I wrote a note and sent a text to her and telling her I was out, I walked into the kitchen making sure not make noise and place the note on the counter and then that man came out, damn he scared the hell out of me.
“Oh my god!” I jumped and held my chest “Why are you up so early?” I asked placing the note down but I really didn’t care, Ariel said I had to be nice to him since he is from the cookoo house.
He shrugged “I couldn’t sleep, so I got hungry” he furrowed his eyes at me “Where are you going?”
“Out” I cocked my head at him, I don’t know who he thought he was but he really didn’t need to ask about MY whereabouts “That’s what you tell my sister aight?” I grabbed my keys out the key bowl and walked out. Leaving that cookoo behind in the kitchen.
I pulled up in Michael’s neighborhood and paralleled parked by his house and got out. For it being around eleven in the morning people were sure out like it was the afternoon, I guess that’s how it is in the hood. I walked up his pathway and knocked on the door. Then he opened the door, he had no shirt on and all his tattoos were showing, I bit my lip in approval and walked in.
“Good Morning to you to” he chuckled shutting the door
“Morning to you Michael” I smiled to him
“I told you call me Mike or Tyga” he walked upstairs to his room
“Okay Tyga” I followed him and we walked into his room “So where the weed at?”
“Damn you waste no time huh?” he went into his drawer and got his box out and smiled to me
“Nope really don’t” I took off my jacket and placed on his computer chair
He took them out and placed them in my hands “Light them up”
I woke up to a text message from Honey telling me she went out for a drive, but I knew the truth she probably went to see a boy. My head and my eyes were kind of sore and heavy from crying hysterically last night with Christopher. After he read me the poem, he explained the rest of his life to me on how he use to paint to escape and how his brother called the ward on him while he was having a episode and he continued to have more to get out and then the diagnosed him with post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. But in actuality he just had hell thrown his way and he had to fight it on his own. I jumped into the shower and continued to wash off the exhaustion off my body, I needed to relax and I know Chris needed to also. So I decided that I would take him out on a day and night on the town. Sort of like a date.
I was done with my shower and came out the bathroom, to here the radio being blasted in the kitchen and I smelt a sweet of aroma of breakfast food. Honey wasn’t here so who was cooking. I wrapped my hair up in a towel and secure the towel around my body and made my way downstairs and I saw Chris beating up eggs in a bowl started to scramble them. I saw pancakes, waffles, sausages in serving bowls.
“Wow” I said sort of out loud
“Good morning” he smiled to me “Don’t worry I will clean everything up when I am done” he said placing the eggs in the skillet
“No no but thank you wow, who taught you how to cook” I leaned over the food holding my towel, smelling the beautiful pleasure shoot through my nose
“My mom” he smiled to himself
“Well she must have been a great cook” I leaned against the counter
“The best and I am not just saying that she was mom, she had a catering buisness ‘Lady J’”
“Wait? Lady J was your mom’s catering business?”
He nodded and looked at me
“She catered for my Sweet Sixteen in January, I met her…she was so sweet and very beautiful and called everyone ‘angel’ and ‘baby’, she danced with us and everything” I smiled
“Yep that’s my mom” he nodded and chuckled “And then the incident happen in September..” he trailed off
“Sorry..” I bit my bottom lip
“It’s cool but I’m glad she made your birthday what you wanted”
“Thanks but um after you cook go take a shower and get dressed, I have some my dad’s clothes here since he stays here sometimes, I think you guys are roughly around the same size and trust me he doesn’t dress like an old man, he is quite in the now, but I am taking you out on the town and show what Philly has changed into” I smiled at myself
“So this is your good deed for the day or something?” he looked at me and smiled, oh my gosh that smile could do wonders.
“Something like it” I smiled and turned on my heels and walked out the kitchen back to upstairs “Oh and Chris?”
I caught him giving me and my body a gaze and then he snapped out “Yeah yeah”
“The eggs are burning” I giggled
“Shit!” he ran and threw them out
