So when Y/N entered Amphoreus she starts off as 3-star. Then when she was gazed by Fuli she upgrades to a 4-star Remembrance Pathstrider. Then somewhere down the line she’ll upgrade again and become a 5-star of her second path.

For this ask. I’ll focus on 4-star Y/N and maybe a bit on her 5-star form at the end. I’ve been curious to what her element is.

So we officially have 3 Wind, 3 Physical, 1 Imaginary, 1 Lightning, 3 Ice, & 3 Quantum.

I’ll now now going down the list of the elements of what each element’s characteristics are. Thanks to @iamemamae for the information in their YouTube video. (I recommend to watch the whole video to get a good idea on what I’m writing in this ask.)

So with all of this. My thoughts on Y/N element for her 4-star Remembrance form, at first, was Ice. Due to me wanting her to combat Khaslana’s/Phainon’s flames. But Y/N doesn’t exactly have inner conflict with herself. So Ice is off the list.

Looking through the elements and Y/N current predicament. I would say Lighting or Wind would fit her characteristics.

Wind due to wanting to run away from Phainon and her constantly ‘’chasing’’ to reach for the stars.

Or

Lighting due to her being a very unique individual in Amphoreus.

I can see either of these working due to the elements are also opposing Phainon’s element, Physical. Physical is like ground? In a sense. Wind and lightning takes their places up in the sky, where the stars are. Like where birds are.

Now for her 5-star form. It might be Fire. Phainon is a Flame Chaser after all. Why wouldn’t he chase his Starlight? Starlight —> Stars. Stars are made of heat. Heat can eventually turn into Flames. Flames and Fire are similar. She’s becoming the Flame that he’s been chasing all along.

Definitions

Fire (noun): combustion or burning, in which substances combine chemically with oxygen from the air and typically give out bright light, heat, and smoke.

Flame (noun): a hot glowing body of ignited gas that is generated by something on fire.

Also when Y/N does get her second path. With what characteristics Fire represents this can mean many things.

—She accepts that her Dad is truly dead and leaves “Phaeton” behind to move forward and get out of Amphoreus with nothing holding her back. 😭

—Y/N might burn away her ‘old (crippled) wings’ and re-grow new ones to take flight.

—Y/N now has Fire resistance and is immune to Khaslana’s flames

—Or since we’re getting multiple ‘endings’. She leaves Knaslana behind and “burns” the memory of him and leaves Amphoreus for good.

Another element that she can end up having is Imaginary (we don’t talk about how that element has mostly men. Rappa and Yukong, preach!). Although if she really did then that would be ironic considering she’s the only real person in Amphoreus yet her element is Imaginary. Including the fact that Phainon is “imaginary” as he’s basically a digital coded character in a simulation and not an actual living person like Y/N.

Y/N has a goal when she came to Amphoreus. She doesn’t know what that goal is, but she’s is associated with Destiny Slave’s. And with that everything has been pre-determined. There’s only one ideal path forward and that path must be reached. No matter what. She’ll make it happen.

So yeah, this is what I have on the theory of Y/N’s elements she’ll get. Let me know what you think. 😆 I enjoyed writing all of this out. 😌

You are so right when saying reader entered Amphoreus as a 3-star lmao imagine pulling on the gacha and not even getting a 4-star weapon! But don't underestimate her - she drives the plot for the current timeline SO MUCH. She's already changed a lot in the current cycle - after all, Phainon is now self-aware!

She was gazed at by Fuli, so that's why she has Remembrance poweres, but definitely not on the same level as Black Swan or the Memokeepers. Reader has a memosprite but she has to meet certain conditions to even take out her Remembrance crystal!

I also think it's so funny that despite Amphoreus being all about the Flame Chase journey...none of the Chrysos Heirs are fire type. Like okay...haha 😂😂

I don't have a definitive element for reader with Remembrance, but based on the information I would go with Quantum. There's definitely a lot of paths reader has gone on, and in the end/finale, there will be splitting branches as well!

Yes I do hc that when Reader is gazed by another Aeon (spoilers lol), she will be on the same wavelength as a 5-star. That element I have definite plans for, and I want to save it for a surprise!

So here’s my take on The Last Jedi:

I had no major problems with the movie as a whole: good cinematography, stunning locations, beautiful symbolism. But one little thing. Just one little thing bugs me.

Finn. It felt to me like Finn just repeated his arc from Episode 7: going from running away, to fighting. Yes, I’ve heard the argument that he comes back for a different reason in the end, but iif someone can’t watch the movie and cipher that out for their self, it’s still way too similar. Here’s the plot idea that I’ve been throwing around here and there since TLJ came out:

Finn doesn’t escape when the Resistance evacuates their base. He’s still unconscious, and something happens: maybe the transport he’s in gets shot down or something. Either way, he is captured by the First Order, but Phasma and Hux decide not to kill him, because here’s the thing: they’re not stupid. If they kill the Stormtrooper that broke his programming, they prove to every other Stormtrooper in the order that he is dangerous, and more importantly, that their programming can be broken. But what if they somehow are able to integrate him back into the order. They can spin it so that “Even the Deviant FN2187 eventually realized that he could not escape his programming and came back.” Whether through brainwashing or through the capture of other resistance agents who will be killed if Finn does not comply, they get him back. And he is back in the ranks as a faceless stormtrooper because he has to. He has no choice.

And then somewhere along the way he meets this cute little First Order Mechanic, Rose. The First Order picked her up off a planet where she grew up as a slave. Her sister escaped the First Order, like Finn, and joined the Resistance. She is trying to get Rose out. Finn accidentally walks in on Rose sending a transmission to her sister and Rose, thinking that Finn will turn her in, stuns him. Of course, once Finn and Rose have a chance to talk things through, they eventually realize they are on the same side and because they have no one else around them to confide in, become friends. He is even able to use her little transmitter to get information back to the Resistance through Rose’s sister, who it turns out knows Poe pretty well.

Rose tells Finn that in the time that he has not been with the First Order, he has developed a bit of a reputation among the other Troopers. He is the reason that she and her sister tried to escape. “The Stormbreaker” is what the troopers call him (I got that from someone else’s fanfiction about him, but I really like it). Finn and Rose eventually meet a small group of Stormtroopers that want to escape the order, and inadvertently become their unofficial leaders (among this group is an officer dubbed DJ within the group, who proves to be a traitor later). The group contains, a couple officers, a handful of pilots, a few stormtroopers, maybe one or two special ops, some intelligence officers, and several other slave-labor mechanics like Rose. Together, the group begins to set up their own covert network within the Order. Finn is their leader, but Rose handles a lot of the organization, since Finn is very high-profile and the Order wouldn’t suspect a tiny slave girl, at least not at first.

All this time, the rest of the story has been proceeding almost exactly the same as the actual movie, just minus Finn and Rose and the Canto Byt (sp?) sequence. Rey still Force-times with Ben and all that Reylo stuff (which I LOVE), and Poe is still in contact with Finn and Rose.

Anyway, Poe tells Finn that he’s planning on taking down Holdo, and Poe tells Finn that they need to stop the hyperspace tracking or something along those lines. So Finn and Rose mobilize their small group and get to work, but just like the actual movie, they are turned in by DJ and this time, Phasma and Hux decide that defaming Finn’s image didn’t work, so best just make an example of them.

And again, just like the movie, this is when Holdo rams Snoke’s ship and we not only get to see Finn duel Phasma head-on, we get to see him leading his small army of “Stormbreakers” against what is left of Phasma’s men. And prevailing!

Under Finn’s leadership, the group steals some First Order fighters and goes down to Crayt, where the rebels are cornered. They are able to help them somewhat, but in the end it’s not enough, and Rose’s sister is shot down in the fight. The remainder of the Stormbreakers retreats to the fortress and Luke has his showdown moment with Ben, Rey still has her “lifting rocks” moment, and we still get to see Rey and Finn’s reunion.

So these changes would have given us more insight into how the First Order works through the eyes of several members, and would have given us more chance to explore the character of Rose AND her sister. This makes Holdo’s plan of evacuation make sense, and it makes sense that she wouldn’t tell Poe or Paige (Rose’s sister) about it because they are in direct contact with members of the First Order, and Poe and Paige would have told her that because they want Finn and Rose rescued. Holdo would have assumed there was a spy. This completely cuts out the problem of the hyperspace tracker never being mentioned or confirmed besides it being a plot device to get Finn and Rose moving, because we would have occasion to see it used, and Rose might even be one of the people that operate it but might not know what it does until told, so once Poe and Paige tell them that, they would be able to sabotage or disable it. 

EDIT: And also, it would give us more time to see Finn interact with Phasma. We see a little in TFA that she views him as a bit of a “problem child,” but we didn’t get a whole lot of Phasma action in TLJ, and I am forever sorrowful about that. END EDIT.

Also, big thing, this would have fixed the scene at the end, “Not fighting what we hate but saving what we love,” because these fixes above actually make it a theme of the story that oftentimes what we hate and what we love are wrapped up in the same object. Rey and Kylo have that hate-love theme already. And Poe and Paige would be unable to stop the First Order without possibly killing Finn and Rose, so that is a dilemma for them. These changes actually make way for conversations about what “we love being contained within something we hate” cropping up all over the place. The line, though it’s poorly-placed makes more sense for what the theme of the film is with these changes.

So, what do you guys think? Better or worse? Scenes that you thought needed to be addressed and fixed that weren’t?

Here’s a list of cute and creative date ideas!

I don’t currently have a boyfriend, but I’ve been having all these really great date ideas recently, so I thought I might as well write them down so others can benefit from them.

- Each of you pick out a couple episodes from your favorite show when you were five years old (my favorite would be something from Veggie Tales, Little Dogs on the Prairie, or 3, 2, 1, Penguins) and watch them together with your favorite snacks at that age.

- Try Geocaching or Letterboxing (look these up, they’re fantastic!).

- Go to a retail store and each pick out clothes for the other to try on. You don’t have to buy anything. Just try them on. I actually did this once with my sister. She chose the most obnoxious outfit for me and I did the same for her. We both absolutely hated wearing them, but we laughed so hard. 

- Go to an antique store - I’m talking like a cracker-barrel style, with things hanging off the walls and ceiling in ways that are totally unsafe - and try to guess what the things there were originally intended for. Wrong answers only. Then, if you’re feeling brave, record your answers and post them on social media.

- This one isn’t original, but it’s a good one. Grab a six-sided die and get in the car. Have your S.O. pick a number between one and fifty (so let’s say they choose 25). Start driving. Whenever you reach an intersection, role the die. If it’s a 1 or a 2, go left. If it’s a 3 or a 4 go straight. If it’s a 5 or a 6, go right. (If it’s a T in the road, then 1-3 are left and 4-6 are right). If your partner chooses the number 25 then you do this 25 times. Once you do it 25 times, just stop, get out and make a date wherever you are. Feel free to add your own!

Mandalorian Motif: Parents and Children/Eggs

In every episode it feels like he’s dealing with a fellow parent protecting their child. Let me explain.

In Chapter Two, there’s the whole thing with the Mudhorn and the “sukka.”

And then in Chapter Four, there’s Winta and her mother.

And now in Season Two, we have three new things. First, in Chapter Nine we have the Krayt Dragon and the pearl. I know the pearl’s not an egg or anything, but I don’t think it’s any coincidence that it looks a bit like one, or for that matter I don’t think It’s a coincidence that Baby Yoda’s Pram looks a bit like an egg either.

And now in Chapter Ten, we get TWO examples of this motif! One with the frog lady and her eggs.

And TWO with the Spider mama and her babies, which I will NOT be picturing here because I do NOT want to go back through that scene again.

I’ll be updating as we get more from the new season, but I can’t be the only person who caught this.

Chapter Twelve:

This one is different. There is the presence of kids at the beginning of the episode.

But there’s also another expression of this motif, and it’s a dark and twisted one.

I’ve seen a handful of theories flying around about who this person is and what this means for Star Wars, but I see it simply as a twisted form of parent and child. The empire as the parent, and this thing as the child.

Here's the trick that took me 20 years to learn. Don't think of religion as an obligation. Think of God as a friend -- the perfect friend.

He'll always be there if you need someone to talk to. It doesn't matter how long it's been since you even thought about him. He just wants to hear from you.

And if you have things that you're worried about, things that you see in the world that don't make sense why he'd let them happen? Ask him. Seriously. Ask him. He always answers.
