For the first time this fall, on November 22, the building at the Tweede Oosterparkstraat 33 Amsterdam will be filled with gems of the city. Here you can find everything, from designer brands to grandmothers discarded silk shirts, but also small furniture and other curiosities. The market will take place between 12 AM – 5 PM. The small businesses that are located in the buidling will also sell some stuff and show what they’re making. Drop by for a pleasant day with vintage, music and coffee to go. A new pattern drawing lesson scheduled! It’s planned on saturday June 20 from 2.00-6.00 PM. This lesson will be all about the top. We will learn you how to draw the basic top, you will make your own basic pattern for the top in your own measurements and we will learn you all the variations of tops. And the nice thing about the top is that it’s also a base pattern to make a dress!

We will ask everyone to bring a picture or drawing of the top or dress you’d like to draw and we will help everyone personally to develop this one. Cost for the lesson is 40 euro pp. (4 hour lesson) There are max. 8 places available. Sign up by sending an e-mail to [email protected].

I am Nold is going to move! We’ve got the opportunity to move closer to the centre to a bigger studio. In the end of October, after this semester, we’re going to make the transition. When we start with the new schedule of November/December we will be located on Hobbemakade 31 Amsterdam. We hope to meet you there!

Introducing our new workshop series: introducing other young creatives specialised in different fields of fashion and here to teach you something new!

 For our first 'guest workshop' we've invited Jana Chocholackova! With a bachelor in fashion design, but a specialisation in shoe design and a star in the manipulation and redesigning of structures, leather, textiles and everything she sees around her, she will be available for 4 hours to learn you all how to make your own personalised Clutch (hand-bag)!

 You'll be working with your hands, deconstructing and reconstructing leather and other materials. Learning different interesting new techniques, developed by Jana, to get to this result. All material will be available during the workshop. Also coffee and tea is provided. And after the workshop you'll be going home with your own bag!

Sustainable Fabrics Workshop I am Nold and Truecolours Textiles are organizing a special evening in I am Nold’s studio! All (ex)students now get the change to be introduced to sustainable fabrics with a workshop in collaboration with Truecolours Textiles.   What is the difference between normal and sustainable fabrics and why is it better to use sustainable materials? These and more question will be answered in a small lecture/introduction. After that it’s possible to feel, see and purchase the sustainable fabrics from Truecolours Textiles.   Interested to come?
