Day 5 of daily drawing, just some retro(ish) pattern doodles because I wanted to try out my highlighters on this paper. surprisingly there was very little bleed through, so i'm happy about that.

I really wanted to draw some leaves, and just doodled a bit, but I actually really like how it turned out :D

I have been struggling a lot with my art (and life in general) lately. Not knowing what I should do with my life and I just feel like I am still stuck in the same place as 7 years ago.

So I am trying to do more art without pressure to make it good or special. Just create. Just do. And see where it leads me.

I drew patterns from scratch for the first time in years... I have so many designs I still want to make ;w;

(The pattern is not totally accurate because I am lazy with my patterns and I still blame school for this. Tracing patterns 3-5 times to make them 'pretty' only works if you draw them for someone else >:V)

Finished this! It’s not ideal bc some of the black outlines are larger than others- and some of the black is smeared- and that really bothers me, but it’s fine lol (I’m sorry about the flash!)

I've always had trouble coming up with interesting clothes so in this piece, I tried to get inspiration online from simple dresses. Then I combined it with my love of drawing patterns.
