If you've had the "pleasure" ;-) of hanging out with me you know how random I am. I go where I am led to go, I speak to who I'm led to, I do what I am led to do and often times "life" never fails in surprising me.

I'm always asked what "inspires" me when creating. Or what motivates me. My response remains the same- LIFE inspires me. HUMANITY inspires me. Talent intrigues me especially when its genuine and from the heart.

I once read an article about a world renown violinist who decided to go to central station and play his violin. He was dressed humbly and just copped a squat and played. The article goes on to point out the fact that no one paid attention or even took the time to stop and listen. Had they done so they would've learned and been blessed to have experienced his gift- and FOR FREE!

That article is imprinted in my heart. It really helped me to be mindful and live in the moment. This planet is vast yet we've really only been exposed to a "bit" of things - when you take on the perspective of the "big picture". Don’t ever be too busy to stop and "listen to the guitar strings".

Enjoy this beautiful talented stranger!! I sure did!

Party for a Cause... Who's Coming... Nu'Dai will be performing!

Dakota Lounge on March 20, 2013 in Santa Monica. Live Local Band. The way I look at it, you can drink, you can dance, and you can be contributing to something that means a great deal to many of us and that's the health of our little ones. At this point I have very little pinned down, so anything you have or suggestions to turn this wednesday into a an opportunity to give back would be amazing. My goal is to hand over a check to the Children's Hospital to thank them for all they once did for my niece Citrus that passed away a few years back and to help support all our children, friend's children, next door neighbor's children, and our children's children. You in? The hope is dance, music, drinks, and supporting that next generation.

You're the only thing I've ever loved more than life itself, yet our relationship is dwindling because the shinning lights are blinding me from the commitment I once made. I need fervor. I miss the passion once shared.

Watching this video makes me think of you and how I've neglected my feelings, my will, my true emotions because of my incessant need for security. But what is security? It's defined as: freedom from care, anxiety, or doubt; well-founded confidence. Seems that I don't have what I think I need, yet I keep pursing security... why? Wouldn't it be more adventurous to chase the dream. But what is a dream? What is the dream? What is MY Dream?

What if I'm content with my illusion, but afraid that it's not elaborate enough.

The journey one has to take to approach the mirage can uplift or deflate ones ambition. The challenge then becomes to anchor, but what are you holding onto?

A mother carries her child to term, nine months of her life dedicated to growing and protecting her offspring, an indescribable bond is birthed.A legacy and natural extension of herself indeed. She prepares to present her labor of love to the world. In the process of producing she learns new things about herself. She gains wisdom and courage to live it out. And in that she becomes... New... Nu' ....

2012 has been a great year for me. I conceived an idea and brought it to fruition. I did things I never thought I could do. I sacrificed, endured and wrestled with patience. The result: Satisfaction knowing "I can". The best eight months of my life! One word that best describes my year- Possible.

I've gone into labor... delivery mode for certain... The pain and joy fills the room... The family awaits anxiously in the lobby.

The Journey continues...

My mom and I have been building a relationship for the past 13 years now and its so much fun. I learn more and more each conversation, each encounter we have alone. She's an amazing woman. I cant believe I'm saying this.... but we're very much alike. I notice qualities in her that I exhibit and it fascinates me. She's presently visiting for the holidays. It's been a blast sharing time with her, my dad, my siblings, and loved ones. Its such a blessing. Tonight we drove around running errands and she made mention of Sharon Osborne so I started to speak in my mock "Sharon" voice and she couldn't stop laughing. So while home tonight doing my video journal she chimed in and it turned into a fun fest. Thought I'd share. God has grown me to believe its not how you start but how you finish. The devil tried to rob me of a relationship with my mother, but God is stronger and knows all. For all you young women who dont know your mom or maybe didn't grow up with her like me, there is hope- ALWAYS. And... there are tons of new memories to create so don't dwell in the past.
