Dragon Boat Race
Yesterday a friend asked me if I wanted to compete with them in a dragon boat race on October 5th. It's the only thing I've ever wanted.
Last night I was invited to the Oddball comedy tour to see Dave Chappelle. I didn’t realize it until I got to the venue, but the other headliner was Flight of the Conchords! I’m so glad we got to see them, my little brother would have loved it, we’ve always been huge fans. We actually ducked out before Chappelle even hit the stage, but the entire show was incredible.

This morning we went out near Lake Mead to a hike called the Anniversary Narrows. The trail took us by a few abandoned mines. The best part about getting up close to a mine was that the air coming out was very cold. It was like standing right next to an (almost) natural underground air conditioner. The trail was supposed to be 4 miles round trip, but ours ended up being closer to 6 due to some creative path finding choices on the return (We got super lost, man)
I am leaving in a few weeks to travel Europe for a month. I would love to update my family and friends back home on what I've been up to, but I'm not planning on taking a laptop. I'm going to see if posting through wi-fi on my phone will be a realistic choice. This is practice
