You ever notice how sometimes the happiest moments of your life don’t even feel like they’re happening in the moment? Like, you could be sitting with friends, or on a random walk, or even just lying in bed talking nonsense with someone you like… and it feels normal. Then months later, you remember it and realize: oh damn, that was happiness, right there.
It makes me wonder — how many of my “best days” already happened without me knowing? And how many are happening now while I’m too busy waiting for the “big” moments?
I think maybe life is less about chasing meaning and more about catching it while it slips past. Like, maybe we don’t need to “find happiness”… we just need to notice it before it’s gone.
We always expect life to announce itself with fireworks — graduation, weddings, trips, milestones. But sometimes it’s just quiet. A random Tuesday. A car ride. The way someone looked at you when you weren’t paying attention.
Could not have said it any better @yoursexyangelamber
