Trust the process

Despite what people, circumstances, or your thoughts attempt to tell you, remember God knew what He was doing when He divinely ordered your steps as you endured those challenges, sad times, disappointments, setbacks, promotions, expansions, blessings, and positive accelerations. Your collective life experiences are working together for your good and training you for the plans, purposes, and will of God. As we journey through life as children of covenant, trusting God is absolutely paramount in our lives, although we might not understand all of the puzzle pieces. But when we trust God, knowing that He loves us and will never leave nor forsake us, we are empowered to faithfully believe that God’s training is for where He is taking us. The training God has you going through is timed and on purpose! Your training is strengthening you for where God has ordained you to go. No matter what, remember obedience and faith is God’s way to the TOP!

Do you know the feeling when you saw a bit of detail from something, and then you suddenly remember every single detail of that moment? Oh well, I thank my Spendee app and Instagram I got to remember where I was, and all that happy moments this April. And it’s time to write them down..

No more 'bukas-na-lang' mentality! Finally before April officially ends, and before I forget how beautiful April was, it’s time to write down those special days and lovely memories that are definitely for keeps. ❤️

2016 is going pretty fast, I remember just a few months ago, I was just making new year’s resolution of reading at least 1 book per month. And I can’t believe I’m still on my February book! Time to catch up, lazy ass!

The day He left..

Guess who’s back!!! I just feel like blogging/writing thinking that this will spice up my mood and makes me work my ass off. Literally I have to do some work related stuff on a Saturday and I’m too L A Z Y. Blame that monthly visitor who turns my world upside down I wasn’t able to work yesterday! :( Speaking of work, I visited a few posts of mine and now this makes me think - I hope I blogged more, I hope I blogged about this trip, during these moments.. I can’t believe a lot has happen in 3 years??! Oh well, I hope I have turned into a wiser, stronger, and independent woman that I always wanted to be.

So here goes my disorganized mind. Haha. The real reason why I wanted to blog today is because Fluffy, our puppy, no he’s not just a puppy (!!), died today and I feel really bad. :( I wasn’t that attached to any pets before until our dogs gave birth to 6 puppies exactly 3 months ago.

Aren’t they cute? They are Dachshund (mother) and Shih Tzu (father) crossbreed. Can you notice Luke’s (guess who :P) hair? He got that from his mommy! And look at that cute face at the middle. I miss you already our little munchkin. :’(

I’m sorry it took us 2 days to bring you to the Vet. You could still be alive playing around today. :( and look how sad your siblings look seeing you this weak.

I will never forget you, Fluffy. He’s my favorite among the 6, he got that unique lovely light brown hair, he’s the one who looks closest to a Shih Tzu, and he’s the sweetest of them all. :( 

As much as I want to hate this day, I find the comfort in the thought that you’re already healthy again, playing happily in Heaven with Jesus. You will be missed and will forever be in our hearts. <3

Olaaaa Tumblr! I’m back after 283637392 years.

Staring at the ceiling, thinking about life and where I want to be few years from now. Haaay. Dramarama.

Brief update: It’s been exactly 2 weeks since I transferred from Assurance to Advisory. Or simply freedom from slavery. Oa lang. Haha. Don’t get me wrong, I love and still love external audit. I only decided to expand my career. First client in my new department is here in Pangasinan so we’re staying in for a week.

Anyways, so here I am, staying at a dorm with my new teammates/clustermates doing…. nothing. Something not related to work. If you’re working in an auditing firm I think you’ll get me more. Which is totally new. Or maybe I was just starting. Oh well, I am glad that I could finally have the work-life balance I’ve been longing for almost 2 yrs now. Maybe I could go to the gym after work, learn to cook, watch series/movies, read books, catch up with friends, ohhh weekends I missed you!

Nevertheless, almost 2 yrs of spending a LOT of time at work is I don’t know but yeah, another milestone of my life. One of the bests I could say. Aside from the fact that I work in the top Auditing firm, great start for my career, I also get to meet not just a co-worker but true friends that I know I will treasure forever. I’m not sure if we just bonded too much that I am finding people like them in my new cluster, or I just miss you guys so much. Dramarama sa gabi.

Something I learned: no matter how hard you think the situation is, there is always something good about it. You might not know, it maybe the best moments of your life pala. As the saying goes, “it’s the journey not the destination that matters”. I’m still at my journey, a new journey indeed, and I am going to enjoy and make the most of it. I’ll never know, I might be destined to another destination. Just enjoy and regret nothing. Good night! ♥

Don’t fall in love with a curious one. They will want to know who you are, where you come from, what your family was like. They will look through your photographs and read all of your poems. They will come over for dinner and speak to your mother about how their curiosity has taught them things of use to her. They will ask you to rant when you’re angry and cry when you’re hurt. They will ask what that raised eyebrow meant. They will want to know your favorite food, your favorite color, your favorite person. They will ask why. They will buy that camera you liked, pay attention to that band you love in case there’s a show near by, they will get you the sweater you smiled at once. They’ll learn to cook your favorite meals. The curious people don’t settle for your shell, they want the insides. They want what makes you heavy, what makes you uneasy, what makes you scream for joy, and anger, and heartbreak. Their skin will turn into pages that you learn to pour out your entire being in. Don’t fall in love with the curious one. They won’t let a sigh go unexplained. They will want to know what they did. Exactly what they did to make you love them. Year, month, week, day. “What time was it? What did I say? What did I do? How did you feel?” Don’t fall in love with a curious one because I’ve been there. They will unbutton your shirt and read every scar every mark every curve. They will dissect your every limb, every organ, every thought, every being then walk back home and eat their dinner and never return your calls. You will never be their lifelong expedition. The heart is a mystery only for so long. There is no ache like loving a curious one who chases every falling star and never catching one. Who comes and sees and conquers and leaves. I’ve fallen in love with a curious one. Maybe one day he will take the train back home and be curious enough to read one last message from me carved on a seat. “There’s a curiosity in you that will move mountains some day as effortlessly as you’ve moved me for years.”
