I remember it vividly. I was standing on the edge of my toilet hanging a clock, the porcelain was wet, I slipped, hit my head on the edge of the sink. And when I came to, I had a revelation, a picture, a picture in my head. AĀ picture of this (points to Flux Capacitor). This is what makes time travel possible. The Flux Capacitor.

A reminder: Just because our introduction thread died/got lost/was awkward/or boring doesn't mean I don't want to RP with you. It just means that some things don't need to be tied up all pretty at the end, and I'm okay with that. So please go ahead and jump back in any time you want with starters/reblogs/or asks. Thanks!

Hardenberg: I admit that some of what you say is true, but Iām the wrong person to be blamed for. Yes, Iāve been playing the game but I didnāt make up the rules. Peter: Itās not who invented the gun, but who pulls the trigger.

Dealt with other before, hm? Ah, his replacement. Rasputin had heard through the grapevine of a new Desperado, one who sounded an awful lot like himself. One arm, barely any cybernetics. Two peas in a pod faced the wrong way. No, Rasputin didnāt know him. But from Samās description, he could easily guess his nature.
"Enough." Nothing too far back. Rasputin, unlike most, didnāt know of Raidenās past. They would have most likely been informed of it by Armstrong in an attempt to psychologically wound the man. All he could dig up was a connection to Maverick and the destruction of part of Manhattan back in 2009.
"I donāt believe youāll have to worry about what information I have on you. If most people have information on you, Iām certain most already know what I know, Raiden.ā
"Didn't know I was such an open book to everyone," the man almost scoffed in response as he bobbed his head back momentarily, eying him sharply. Now there was the point of how both of them defined "most." Though from the way he put it, it sounded like the whole part about his childhood was not included, which was a relief. Despite his taunt earlier, there was a subtle change in his tone, this time. Uncongested words came along with mellowness in the air, the misty tension quietly dying down below them. Rather inconspicuous was the brief stretch on his lips, corners of the artificial skin curved upwards behind the metal plates of his jaw.
After he gave it a moment, Raiden had finally been able to pinpoint what had felt off the whole time, regardless of given circumstances.Ā There was no real introduction, was there?Ā
"So, what about you? Y'don't think it's a little unfair I don't get to hear your story?"
Naturally, one would expect a long-winded speech from every member of the Desperado leaders and captains. It had gotten to the point where Raiden was partially convinced it must have been some sort of requirement for recruiting. But even if Rasputin was no longer part of them, as he claimed, the cyborg's interest had been piqued. This was the first time he heard of a Wind quitting like that. There must have been reasons. And intel was more crucial than anything.
