#mystory 173/365;" 3 things...& the rest of the story 😎" I've got a feeling there's lots more to #mystory today... #mystory 172/365;" Just keep making 4ward progress!" 🚶🏻🚶🏻 as an #entrepreneur some days ( especially Monday's 😉) are simply about fighting forward... To keep making progress. What steps did u take today to move toward your #goals & #dreams ?? Are you hiding from hard steps u need to take? For me an early morning 4.6m walk to beat the #SoCal 🔥🔥 wave... #mystory 171:365;" Father's Day fun & a challenge". 😉🚶🏻😉🚶🏻 these last few years as I've taken back life to live it on my terms.. I try to do something both fun & challenging to myself around Father's Day & my birthday (which are in same week annually)... Today .. The challenge was a big new hike . on some new trails and under heat wave 🔥🔥😎😎 conditions ( for #LA).. So 4 hrs later Ive survived my @lifeinawalk woooo hoooo 😉✌🏼️ 12.8m/1900ft elevation climbed & burned a small child's worth of calories & sweat I think haha ... But as with most days like this , these last few years since I #hitmyrefreshbutton , It was the #adventure of it that made it fun!! 👍🏻 I met some super bright, friendly young people from #SouthCentral LA as we banded together to share a shady 🌳🌳 picnic bench... Talking knowing that we probably don't cross paths in life otherwise...I met a lovely young #muslim family from Pakistan as I stopped to take photo for them so they could all share in the memory of their first visit to LA... I met another family from #holland as they asked me for directions having gotten a lil lost on the massive #GriffithPark trails ( easy 2do btw.. As Griffith park is 5x bigger than #NYC #centralpark at 4300 acres and far more natural & rugged!) and as we talked I realized them and their lil 2yr old were woefully low on water... So I gave them one of my extra bottles.. Knowing I'd know where to fill up again... And then I had a great convo w/ a terrific #LA Park ranger as he pulled up on me... Shout out to them today as they traversed the park Checking in on we hikers, offering water or rides to people in distress ( and yup I pointed him behind me to that lil #Dutch family) .... I was worried about the heat.. I had some fun experimenting with Facebook Live and all in all... Im really glad I came out today and lived #mystory the way I did. 😎🙏 and oh yeah... Drats if Mother Nature & a wildfire didn't stop me from the peak w/ less than .3m left! #mystory 170/365;" just let it happen & don't wonder why" . today's story is actually bit continuation of Friday's story... I was really #blessed as both #UncleRob & an #entrepreneur #leader yesterday ... So much good I couldn't share it all in 1 story....amidst a day, filled with @growthhax opportunities, family fun and helping out friends... I got a call from a talented #entrepreneur ... One I hadn't spoken to in a few years... One who follows my work & #mystory and one who I always had tons of respect & admiration for 3-4-5 years ago... I was excited to hear his voice and we picked up in good ole space... He asked some great encouraging questions about @growthhax and my "why" ....but then with no prompting he literally said " hey.. Rob it's not good.. Im just gonna be really honest" things are really bad Rob.. My business is failing and I'm on edge"..for An hour he pulled back layer after layer of his story... He became progressively more real and authentic and humbled... I injected some honest questions... I encouraged where I could but not falsely with empty hope. We got really real... Talked good bad and ugly truths.... And as we neared 2hr mark... He said " you said earlier Rob, " just let me know how I can ever help you succeed ?" And he said " if you're serious... Let me tell you my real dream! Let me tell you what would rocket me out of bed in the morning Rob" and he did!! I was driving this entire time and eventually pulled over tho he didn't know it... I was so #humbled and truly grateful for his deep #trust of me with #hisstory .. I was emotional... Honestly I teared up 😭 he was so raw and authentic and with no recent tie he felt comfortable to seek ME out & trust ME with his struggle And his hopes and his dreams.... Why me? We talked some more❤️ got into some tactics, ideas, few suggestions & promises to stay connected. I hung up stunned..humbled AND MORE #inspired & filled with validation & belief in our "WHY"; why we're building @growthhax 2 help #entreprenuers & #humanBeings succeed as people first & business people 2nd #lifewithoutlimits #startup #lifesajourney #instagood #business #leadership #storyteller 🙏❤️ (at San Clemente Beach, CA)

#mystory 167/365;" Humility 😌" today was such a great day largely because it #humbled me and for that I'm so #grateful 🙏🙏❤️ It reinforced to me how important it is & powerful it can be, for each of us to simply share our #story ... As often as we can!! Don't do it for gain. don't tell a version you think will "attract" people or an audience... Just tell it!! I've been told by talented pro's and I read daily that we should just tell our story and audience will find us and most importantly if we simply impact ONE persons life... #mystory 164/365;"If...." On a day filled with tragedy, murder, hate, sadness and lots of divisiveness and opinions... I couldn't help but think primarily about one of my long time favorite poems. Kipling's "If".... As I watch & listen to so many spew so much divisive invective, angry points of view in their real time echo chambers , with such little application of patience, reason, facts or thoughtfulness.... I just kept coming back to Kipling.... humbly I believe our world would be well served by more of this and less of our daily combative discourse.... But hey what do I know 🙏❤️ I'm just one man... #peace to the families of today's victims and all those who will die at the hands of violence this year. 😔 (at Orange County)
