My wife was out to see accounts when she stopped at a Halloween store and then she found this gem! But don’t let his fantastic appearance tempt you into buying him because he looks nothing like this in the store, and that’s because she altered him. She repainted his face, used Mod Podge to create drool on his lower lip, wrapped his metal frame with bubble wrap and stuffed him with crumpled-up computer paper.

We’re not planning on putting him outside because of the changes that were made to him, so we’re keeping him in the bedroom (where he belongs). Our Pennywise collection just keeps growing!

My wife knows how to spoil me! She surprised me with Neca’s newest Pennywise action figure, which we’re going to be keeping in the box and she ordered another one that we’ll be taking out of the box to play with. We went to the mall today, and we came home with Funko’s (Dorbz) Pennywise. There are only two that were released, and both of them are limited edition. She also spent time feeling the tiny packages of the Horror Series 3 Blind Bag Figural key-chains, and she managed to find us two Pennywise key-chains just by touch alone! She has the other one.

I swear, if there were a 2017′s Pennywise merchandise contest, we’d win. Hands down.

I’ve noticed that there’s a picture going around of Bill Skarsgård drinking Pennywise wine, and people are shocked that it’s an actual wine. Did you know there’s a wine called, Castle Rock? I work part-time at a liquor store and part-time for a vineyard, so I’m familiar with these wineries. I tried the Pennywise chardonnay, and it’s good, but I haven’t tried Castle Rock yet. I will soon!

It really saddens and upsets me that “IT: Chapter One” has not received more awards and nominations. Look at the costume alone, it’s amazing, and these people need to be recognized and praised for their hard work.

Janie Bryant designed the costume, Christina Patterson was in charge of lenses, Ryan Reed worked with the prosthetics and hair, and Sean Sansom was the shop supervisor and makeup effects designer. There are many more people that worked hard, and you can find the list of their names here.

However, despite the lack of awards and nominations, here’s a list of its accolades:

Won: “Best Horror” by Golden Trailer Awards

Nominated: “Best Acting Ensemble” and “Best Youth Performance” (Sophia Lillis) by Washington D.C. Area Film Critics Association

Nominated: “Best Adapted Screenplay” (Chase Palmer, Cary Fukunaga, Gary Dauberman and Stephen King) by St. Louis Film Critics Association

Nominated: “Best Poster” by Houston Film Critics Society

Nominated: “Best Sci-Fi/Horror Movie” by the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards

Still, it doesn’t seem like enough, but there’s still the rest of the year and “IT: Chapter Two” will begin filming soon.
