i got into the sturniolo triplets back when i stumbled upon their reading fanfiction videos in summer 2024 and had lurked around on tumblr since then with an empty blog. that was until i decided to make a proper account for myself at the end of the year by finally posting & writing fics in february 2025 (cringey trial era, if i may add) and actually properly interact in summer of the same year (super, duper fun, coming-out-of-my-shell era, if you will).
who knew materialising your daydreams can be a fun pastime from writing academic research?
life is taking me to other bigger things now with university ending for me (praise the lord!!! who even decided to give hell a second name) and as time went on, i do realise that i have been prioritising the wrong stuff. although writing fics was a great distraction for me back then, there were some things along the way that simply made my liking towards the said hobby, unfortunately, deteriorate.
but that is not to say that my time on tumblr has secretly been hellish!
i would say that i am very privileged that i have received nothing but support on this site and was never one to face meanies. and alongside that, the people that i was lucky enough to cross paths with on here are all amazing and crazily talented! i genuinely can’t thank them enough for taking the time out of their life to help me escape my own hermits shell.
i am not deactivating this account and will remain active from time to time, though this blog will no longer become a “sturniolo-centred” blog if that makes sense, which explains the username change earlier this year and my lack of postings & interaction towards fics that i have been tagged in the months following it.
unfortunately, i couldn’t force or bring myself to read them anymore because of how my interest in the triplets have diminished since. as for now, i doubt that i have anything to share/contribute to the sturniolo community... and i definitely understand your choice to unfollow this blog as it is simply going to just turn into a personal scrapbook of mine 💛

as a small blog, i know that this post won’t exactly gain traction but i totally appreciate the idea of being given some closure, so i guess this is just my part of coming clean.
