Taylor, the oldest, with a foul temper and love of a good time, he loved a fight and didn't mind dismembering folks. Taylor was murderous and dangerous. People who knew him remarked that he was unpredictable. He loved his car and once killed a White man who challenged him about owning it.

Bethany, blessed with the voice inherited from Daniel Collins, she became a famous jazz singer. Bethany was quiet but infamous for dark Hoodoo services she held at her home in Harlem, bringing the power of the Black South she had been born from. Bethany's power frightened people and some said her mansion was haunted.

Betsey or Betsey The Brawler as she was known in the world of the Blues, could also sing and went to the Blues. Wild, loving a good drink and party, Betsey would beat the brakes off men and women, often shocking folk with her unnatural strength. Taylor remarked the Betsey would fight hell and laugh.

Linny was the youngest and sweetest. Lesbian, she was accepted by all her family and had numerous companions. Linny often reined in the worst impulses of her siblings. She and her companion Natalie Bell lived together until death. She was the longest lived, dying in 1976.
