my personification of envy (1/7 sins)

Basically, how i got my idea for Invidia: - Two-headed to show how envy can be two-faced

- Invidia's eyes are sewn shut (kinda) in reference to the Roman Catholic punishment for those who are envious

- Invidia's hair is green and yellow (blonde ig) in reference to the Grimm's Tale of Snow White, where the Queen grows 'green and yellow with envy'

- Blueish, pale skin cuz a punishment is also basically freezing in a lake idk which comes from Dante Alighieri’s Inferno specifically Caina, which is based on Cain who kills his brother out envy lol so basically Invidia has hypothermia

-their heart is exposed to show the wickedness of it, basically, despite their kind face, they're envious through and through and the ribcage, whcih are kind of now snakes, bite into their heart basically spreading their own poison deeper within themselves.

-their hair is makeshift of snakes, lwk just wanted to give a nod to the original depiction of invidia which leaned into snake imagery

-evil eye imagery but basically the protective symbol against it (which was served to counter it) on the snakes and hair, cuz i couldnt really find the ACTUAL evil eye but it simply signifies envy ig I hope you like them, i read into a lot of this stuff and it was fun :p
