Quick piece that I've had on my mind for DAYS ever since it was confirmed that Susie slept in Castle Town (we were right!!!). Anyways, did you guys notice that no one seemed to heal Susie's hand when she broke the final panel? I like to think that once she went to the LW, those wounds can no longer be healed with magic. So this was the next best thing Ralsei could come up with (not that Susie's mad about it lol)

Waves lazily lap the shore, shimmering and reflecting the bubbles that waft across the painted sunset on this cool summer evening. The world seems too still and calm to be dying. But as time itself slows to a standstill from the theft of ancient relics, life is leeching away from the once vibrant lands.

Enter Malachi, a partially evolved Shinx appointed by the mysterious "Maelstrom" as her champion. Problem is, neither of them quite know what has to be done to save the world. Matters are only complicated when an amnesiac Alolan Vulpix washes ashore with her own mysteries to solve. As our heroes meet new friends and foes alike, they find that they may be involved in something much greater, much larger, and much more sinister than any of them bargained for.

A mini PHM comic about Grace growing old. I wanted to explore two ideas: Rocky dealing with Grace’s dementia and Grace wanting to donate his body to science. I spend so much time on figuring out the dialogue (some part still feel clunky to me) but I hope it express my thoughts on where I think Grace’s life would go :)

Gosh I'm still thinking about Project Hail Mary, I think I just realized part of what makes it all so human and special, it's how SCRAPY Grace is! He doesn't have any training, he doesn't know what half of the buttons do, but the most important part is that he doesn't treat any of it with the restraint you would expect from the situation.

He's reckless with the machinery and doesn't think twice before tearing it appart to fit his needs, he modifies the space so he can traverse it better, he calls the ship "Mary" even it doesn't have any artificial intelligence of any kind, and all of it is key to the feeling of the movie.

This is why the scene with Carl at the beginning is so important!

Project Hail Mary is NOT a SCIENTIFIC MISSION, it's a SCHOOL PROJECT!!! The kind of project where you and your buddy go to home depot and build a shitty model using wooden sheets, cardboard and duct tape!!

THIS is the essence of the movie to me. It's not a esterilized, by the books procedure, no line of command or authority, no orders to be followed or ignored. It's just two people trying their best to save their worlds.

anyway, I love Niko so much if you couldnt tell, so I needed to draw them. Also, I realized while drawing this I DO NOT know how to get skin tones, so their skin looks kinda off, but it's the best I could do for the moment.
