Spider-Noir’s Character age headcanon (Ben, Robbie, Cat)

(Because I refused to believe that Ben Reilly would be in his 60 despite him being played by Nick Cage. Plus, the timeline and relationship in the show would be weird if that was the case. This is just my headcanon, give or take 2-3 years)

1914-1918- WW1

Ben: 26-30 (in flashback, he looks younger -but well into his adulthood. Got bit by the man-spider near the end of the war.)

Robbie: 17-21 ( he said his brother serve but never said himself, so maybe he couldn’t enlist because of his age?)

Cat: 13-17 (I’m working her age backwards for this one)

1919 to 1928- The Spider era

Ben: 31-40 (met Ruby, became The Spider. Crazy to think about him spidering around in his 30s)

Robbie: 22-31 (his prime years at the Daily Bugle, headlining The Spider)

Cat: 18-27 (lounge singer, met Dentist, got involved with Silvermaine)

1928- Ruby’s death. Ben stop being The Spider.

(5 years)

1933-present

Ben: 45 (described himself as old)

Robbie:36 (described himself as young, spry even)

Cat: 32 (Silvermaine doesn’t think she’s “young” anymore)

I tried to be as realistic as possible with the timeline we were given with some relevant comments mentioned in the show. Robbie and Cat does have some wiggle room, but to me, this is the best age range for Ben. If Ben was any older, I think his prime Spider Era gonna feel weird with how late he started. Any younger, we wouldn’t be able to believe Nick Cage is playing him.

Ben saying he “still has the arachnid genes” and had to watch movies to relearn how to act human perfectly explains other scenes…when he was a “plumber” and broke into the couple’s home to get his suit back? When he acted like a freak patient in the doctor’s office? Yeah he was literally acting like the people in the movies lol
