A headcanon for Sylus and Reader/mc who loves to read

It's already been established that Sylus reads books, he's definitely the kind of person who would be into reading classic literature.

But imagine a reader/mc who also has a great passion for reading. I can see them exchanging books and discussing their opinions after they've read the same book over dinner and dates.

Sylus would listen to her patiently as she talks about the book. They would dissect the book together. Sylus would definitely give his views and opinions on the book and it's characters.

As they share the book, the book will be filled with annotations. Sylus would have scribbled his notes in a black pen along the margin with his messy handwriting. Reader/mc would use a glitter pen to make her notes. In the end the book will be filled with page flags, sticky notes and their combined handwriting.

Sylus would also read romance novels that are considered cliché after reader/mc gushes about it. He ends up liking them and will read more.

A/N: First time sharing something I've written on my own... Feeling kinda nervous

"You blush from your ears," you tell Sylus, like you're presenting him with groundbreaking knowledge. "It's never from your cheeks first, always your ears."

Sylus blinks, resisting the sudden urge to touch his ears.

"I don't blush at all, sweetie."

You hum, eyes sparkling mischievously.

"Of course you don't, oh big bad leader of Onychinus."

That small taunt earns you a soft swat to the bottom which you easily evade, delighted giggles pouring from your lips.

"Brat," he murmurs around a smile as you wink at him. "One usually has evidence along with their accusations."

You don't reply to that, don't say a single word but you look thoughtful and Sylus instantly knows that he's gotten himself into trouble.

The next morning, Sylus walks into the living room and stops right in his tracks when he's greeted by a blown up image of his face. The shot has been taken at just the right angle to show one of his ears. His ear which is flushed a deep red, the striking colour bleeding into the pale of his cheek.

Sylus stares at this photo for a long time, long enough for you to stroll into the living room with two mugs of coffee in hand. You pass him one, smiling victoriously when he silently accepts it.

"You asked for proof." Is all you say before you're sipping from your mug like the winner you are.

Sylus doesn't know whether to be proud, irritated or aroused.

He settles on all three.

One day before Sylus's birthday, I graduated from Fluctuation Open Orbit. 🤍 I did it 4 hours before server reset, while waiting for his birthday banner to drop. This is my archive post for the hardest trial in the game, until Infold rolls out some new updates later. Until then, I'm going to enjoy a short break. I was definitely balding from all the stress for this one. 😂

I used X-02 for Team A and Silwerwing Fiend for Team B. I build protocores for both teams for a very long time. More than one year worth of grinds and still, they aren’t perfect. Silwerwing Fiend especially, took me months and months, because I scrapped almost my entire protocore inventory to rebuild his Crit stat. I finished his Energy Orbit and FOO59 with a pure DB2W build. 【Team A: X-02 R3】

To be honest, pure luck dealt me most of my ranked cards for Caleb, as spooks to other LIs. During Throne of Eros, Caleb completely blocked Xavier, Rafayel and spooked Zayne a couple of times to rank himself up. It’s also pure luck on my side for having one of the best Caleb’s combat girls that I could learn from.

【Team B: Silverwing Fiend R3】

I aimed for all bossman’s Defense lunar cards since the Wedding Banner, ahead of SwF’s debut. It was pure gambling on my side and I would be so cooked if SwF didn’t turn out to be Defense-scaling at that time. 😂

T2 gave me so much headache because SwF often doesn’t CRIT successfully. I was about to give up and wait for his new yellow lunar card.

【Dies Irae • Finite】

Just keeping here as a digital archive because my main journal is now full, all pages 🐦‍⬛ It's the only one I ever use because it is synced and it will never go missing in the event if I had to reinstall the game.

It’s a lot of different milestones there. Every single word, every single Glint photo was handcrafted from scratch.

Very painful and difficult to hit the delete button. I accidentally deleted the content of the second page and I never did find the energy to recreate it again.
