What a weird week! Big wind storm came through town and promptly blew two neighbor trees over onto the house. Found that the @cruxfermentationproject Krystal Juice IPA goes well with cutting through debris and mending broken gates. Another West Coast style IPA in my fridge is crazy after the extended haze craze. Citrus and a hit of mango. Sunny and supposed to be almost 80 degrees means I’m supposed to mow the lawn! My reward for a job well done was this #topcutter IPA from @balebreaker and it is delightful! Beer two at @bondbrosbeer; Obfuscate IPA which is nice and juicy. Very much in line with what you might expect from a hazy IPA in this region. I'm in North Carolina briefly and @bondbrosbeer came very highly recommended. After ponying up to the bar I asked the server to hit me with their favorite beer. This Rouge Red IPA arrived moments later. At first, I thought it was a Rogue Red, but Rouge is definitely more fitting. . There is no IBU listing on the menu, but it is bright, tart and crisp all at the same time. I'm not a sour aficionado, but it feels like it belongs in that vein. 6.9% ABV and after a long day of work it starts to hit the spot at the beginning of the great unwind. via Instagram https://ift.tt/2R7nYIH
