I spent my entire school career afraid of being wrong because I was taught that to make a mistake was embarrassing. Now I’ve discovered that making a mistake just means you are one step closer to the right answer, and everyday I have to work to shake the mindset that a single wrong answer equals failure.
the best way to improve yourself in, really, any aspect, is to make mistakes- i can’t stress this enough.
raise your hand and answer questions even if you’re not entirely sure your answer is correct, pitch ideas during a group project, add your insight to class discussions… the list goes on and on.
although many of you are still on summer break, it is important to set yourself up for the new school year with the mindset that making mistakes is never embarrassing.
:’( extraño ser así de flaca u.u días que no volveran
You not finding me attractive is not going to stop me from being attractive.
I SWEAR TO GOD IF YOU KEEP THIS MINDSET YOU WILL GET SOOO MUCH CONFIDENCE
@umakemecool
if any of you freaks call Ted Bundy a “uwu cinnamon roll who did nothing wrong” after the zac efron movie comes out i will personally show up to your home and smack you
lemony snicket was really out there teaching us as elementary schoolers about grey morality, about how neither good nor bad people always get what they deserve, how being clever and kind doesn’t always guarantee you will triumph (although it’s certainly better than the alternative), how ignorant/complacent/dismissive though well-meaning adults can have just as harmful an impact on children as those with ill intentions, and how not every story has a happy and complete ending
Also the meaning of, like, a whole bunch of words
“It is quite possible that we look at the world from the wrong side and that we might find the right answer by changing our point of view and looking at it from the other side, that is, not from outside, but from inside.”
― Carl Jung

In honor of Janelle Monáe coming out I put together a lil graphic about bi & pan identities! This is based on my own experiences within the community as someone who uses both terms. It of course does not cover everything! Image description under the cut.

I sent an ask to a bi-related tumblr asking them about a photo they had up using the word both which implies two genders?? I need to think about this more.
I'm bisexual. I'm attracted to men and women. You are not going to tell me what's what with my sexuality thank you :3
