Idea Squad

Young artists from 3 different schools, 5 different art classes, collaborated on a series of projects to embrace the unexpected. Over 100 students have participated in this collab project: each school begins their own art projects that is then passed on to the two different schools to add on, and complete within a certain time limit. Matthew McNair Secondary School created a series of surreal illustrations; Burnaby North created art inspired by paper sculptures; and L'ecole Alpha created exquisite coprses. This project gives students the opportunity to learn to adapt to different ideas, to think quickly, and to appreciate the art of others. The results are a community of creative young artists: The Idea Squad.
