Sometimes I wonder what Noodle was doing between El Mañana incident and Phase 3.

Any theories/headcanons/ideas?

I like to imagine she filinfutrated the pirates that were hunting down murdoc trying to deter them away bit eventually was found and kicked out, that's why they went after her in the melancholy hill where they boomed the cruise, she was running from them and trying to get to murdoc

It's not a hate, but wouldn't it be too strange for pirates? I mean, they probably knew about Murdoc's musical career, so they probably knew what the other members of Gorillaz looked like. Wouldn't it be suspicious for them if a Japanese woman suddenly joined their group during their active hunt for Murdoc, while a Japanese girl went missing a few years ago and her death hasn't been confirmed?

I assumed that's what her mask was for, she got in and went into the pirate gang and when they kicked her out they knew her only by the cat mask, that would be why they were going after her

According to Murdoc, she allegedly ended up in Hell, and he spent over six months journeying through Hell in an attempt to locate her. When he was unsuccessful, he decided to return to Kong. The wiki mentions that Murdoc deceived her captors into releasing her.

Question is, who captured her?
