“ everyone in the school watched it!☆ ” from the statistics she was told from saori, it was enough numbers to say that the whole school has seen it. “ as well as people outside of it. it was a live broadcast available online☆ so all of yumemi’s fans were able to see it☆ ” for someone that had their dark secret given out to the public like that, she is oddly really happy about it all. 

“ yumemi has gotten even more famous because of it!☆ your idol debut is so popular... well, because of me, of course!☆ a repeat performance would be so fun. i would love to perform with yumeko again☆ ”

there are two people. both of them are kind of obvious, i think. natari kawaru. though, it is more of a ‘ hi. i look up to you & respect you a great deal. pls praise me & tell me i am doing a good job ’. it’s really much a fan crush @ her. saori. holy shit. she??? loves?? saori so much??? without her, yumemi wouldn’t be the person she is today! honestly, i feel like there might have been a point that yumemi would have given up if she didn’t become an idol. she wasn’t getting anywhere with her acting like she wanted. saori was able to open up a door for yumemi that she wouldn’t have been able to open herself. she has so much respect & love for saori. she knows that saori would do her best to make sure everything goes smoothly for the idol. god. if anything happened to saori, she would murder everyone in this room & then herself.

she is the type to get crushes but, she really tries not to. the whole ‘ idols can’t date ’ thing. she really tries to keep love & crushes out of her mind the best she can. 

hmm. i’m not too familiar with a lot of these terms for ‘ lgbtq+ ’, let alone even knew there is a ‘ spectrum ’. ( dude i just remember when you were either just straight, gay or bi. like there wasn’t really a lot of terms & i’m not even that old. it's just too much to keep track with honestly. not trying to sound rude / hateful here. i’m just in a state of confusion with how many terms there are. i’m in the dark here. ) so um forgive my basic ass here. 

i don’t really think she would care much for gender but, i don’t think she would really think much outside of ‘ male ’ & ‘ female ’. she is the kind to be attractive to visuals & appearance. though personality is a thing she looks for. social status is important. she can’t just date a nobody. she is from a wealthy & probably important family, so she has her own set of standards as well as standards she needs to live up to when picking a future partner. ( her family probably wants her to marry a rich, important male, so her preference is probably this. ) though, she likes girls as well. try to name me one girl who isn’t into a girl in this series. but because of expectations she has from a social standing, her family & herself, she is probably going to be very hesitant about actually dating a girl since she doesn’t want to be casted out or looked down upon.

“ so pretty☆ ” fingers reach out to touch a lock of her long pink hair. similar to yumemi’s though lighter in colour. it looks so much more mature on luka than it does on the student. something she could only wish for. her whole idol persona is based on being this basic cutesy idol that fans eat up. why couldn’t she have been blessed with a more mature body? curse her cute looks... it only brought her down a path that she really didn't want to be in.

“ what kind of products do you use? i’m so jealous☆ it’s much nicer than yumemi’s!☆ ” ( @utahxme )

“ ouuuu ~☆ maaaa ~☆ ” she repeated the name given to her in a playful manner. “ oooooou ~☆ ma ~☆ just where has yumemi heard that name before☆ ” her finger taps at her bottom lip. as if she is actually using this time to think. humming loudly to join in on her ‘ thinking ’.

anonymous:  What made Yumemi-chan choose pink as a hair color? was it Saori's idea? why not purple, hazel or blonde? what is her association with the color?  

bc this is anime & all logic gets thrown out the window there, i am just gonna go with the fact that she was born with her current hair colour. mainly, since we have no evidence given to us that she has dyed her hair.

though, if we were to say she did dye her hair. i wouldn’t put it pass yumemi that she was trying to make her hair look even more like natari. but she messed up down the line, grabbing the wrong colour or letting it sit too long, making it more of this pinky — brown colour. she probably didn’t like it at first & just stuck with it until it grew out but saori probably talked her into keeping the colour as it does fit for a cutesy idol. purple feels more mature when we talk about idols. hazel is pretty basic, same with blonde. though it could work for the cutesy idol vibe she has. though, i don't think the colour would suit her that well. 

because i am way too far deep into idol animes, a lot of the time their ' character colour ' their hair colour or a colour they are normally seen in. i could have picked purple because of the flower on her uniform or red because of that same fact. i could have even pick blue because of her idol outfit in the first season. but if we look closely, we see ribbons in pink. her practice / training outfits are also pink. then we go into the second season. what colour is her idol outfit? pink. if they didn't want us to associate her with the colour pink, they wouldn't have given us to much of her in pink. that includes her hair.

but if we want to go with a more ' in character ' kind of thing, it was probably saori's idea. the persona, the outfits, she knows how to make j-pop idols. wha tare they known for? being cutesy. pink is a very cheery, cutesy colour. so it just works better than blue or purple or red. which are more cool or mature colours giving the shades. yumemi isn't a very ' cool ' or ' mature ' character. she says so herself she is immature & i don't think she believes herself to be very cool like her idol.

where am i even going with this? i think i even lost the point i was trying to make here...

yumemi’s fanclub name is ‘ dreamers ’. sometimes stylized as ‘ dreamerz ’. and the fan colour is pink. her light stick is in the shape of a star in pink.
