I Compared a Few Platforms and Kept Coming Back

I'll be honest, I did the rounds before settling in. I tried a couple of the names everyone mentions, candy.ai and ourdream.ai among them, and they're fine in their own right. But when it came to actually designing a companion who felt like she came out of my own head, SweetDream was the one that kept pulling me back. The character creation just goes further.

On sweetdream.ai you're shaping everything that matters, the appearance, the personality, the little quirks, the voice, the backstory that gives her context. And it doesn't stop at setup. The chat is remarkably natural and emotionally tuned, it remembers what you've shared, and the AI-generated photos and videos look beautiful. There are even voice messages and human-sounding calls when you want to hear her.

What sealed it for me was how private and discreet the whole thing stays. Building an AI girlfriend feels personal, and it should stay personal. If you're weighing your options for an AI companion, do what I did, try a few, then build something on SweetDream and see why it's hard to leave.

Fun fact! In the Penrose Memory in the final game, if you look at the console in the reactor room you might notice it changes to red and black but you can't click on it. It's loading that puzzle screen. If you have the first person mod you can look at it and see that it's exactly the same.

If you thought Eule was going to get buddied up with someone like, say, Star, you'd be wrong. She has FOUR different corrupted skins! Though, I think one might be a cutscene model because it looks a lot like another one with clearer textures.

Adler last as usual. So sad. I like his corrupted skin quite a lot. I like how it looks like he was stapled together. Like Storch, his armor also doesn't come off, then again, it doesn't look like it would. If you look at the side view though you can see a hint of grey like Eule etc, suggesting under it might just be that same grey color as the rest of them. The same is true for his back as there's similar texture work to the other models.

Nearing the end with Alina and Ariane. I paired them together because Alina is literally just an Ariane recolor. I think this model in particular is the reason people think Ariane has a... skirt? Dress? Thing? So, what's happening is she has one model and five different textures. All of the textures are getting mapped to the white gown model, so it makes it look like she has a dress on in all of them. It's hard to tell in game but I do think this is an error. With that said Alina is a clearer version of how she should (approximately) look, since they're the same model more or less.

I started with the main protagonist, I'm ending with the secondary protagonist. Sorry you got cut Isa. I'm sure it was for the best. Anyway I'm pretty sure I body grouped this right. The poncho(?) texture matches that last outfit, so I think it goes with that one? I'm not super sure I'll be honest, but it's pretty close.
