This year for Halloween I'm going as a caveman
Knuckledragging dumbdumb,
Primative beast, all uggs and grunts,
painting poems on the inside of caves one
Stick figure at a time fingerpaint monet
But I won't know what that means,
I'll be too busy eating meat and making fire
And drinking myself more stupid than I
Beating at my chest and forgetting how to speak,
Picking fleas out of any prospective she's,
I'm leaving my phone at home,
And only communicating through smoke signals,
You'll know I'm coming through when I let out a
Don't talk to me about politics,
All I've been taught has been forgotten
Just spearing and rubbing sticks
If I say I'm going clubbing it's
Not to King Street I'm just looking for things to beat,
I'll fall in love clattering a cave lady over the head
Or maybe she'll club me, we'll see,
Won't be for my intellect,
Who are you to judge us for
Following those from time to time,
I'll be wearing animal print without the guilt,
Dumbdumb, ugg grunt grin on my face,
They say ignorance is bliss and this is the night,
Dumbdumb finds out they're ugging right,
I'll be the neanderthal in the corner,
One hand scratching my arse
The other scratching my head,
Vacant gaze at anything that you've said,
Confused by light switches
Intrigued by how the cooker feels,
Poking on the glass of the mirror to
See if the man in it's real,
Oblivious to social constructs
And anything more than ugg,
Dumbdumb, distract me with shiny things,
Don't make me think too hard, it hurts,
I'm confused by butterflies
So can't comprehend the universe,
Me like you me throw stone,
Me no care about the rest of the world,
Me no care about anything, ugg,
So this year for Halloween me go as a caveman,
What's scary'll be waking up the next day
