I post blorbo rambles + fanart, and also random personal/life stuff. I tend to post primarily about one fandom at a time for several months at a time

Not a big shipper, romance just isn't my thing. I find platonic relationships more fun/interesting personally, and often struggle to comprehend romance or attraction (I'm very aroace). That said, reblogging my art with ship name tags is generally chill (please no unprompted sexual/romantic comments on my posts tho)

I'm shy/slow to follow people or make mutuals, and not very good at making or maintaining friendships, but I do like interacting with people and chatting about blorbos and generally being social and friendly

Imagine being the lady in PHM who discovered the astrophage line (Irina Petrova, I believe was her name). What would it even be like to have the apocalypse named after you like that? On one hand, you're gonna spend the rest of your life with your name being associated with the end of the world. It might very well be the first thing people think of when you introduce yourself. On the other, it's because you spotted the warning signs early enough that something was able to be done. You were the first in a chain of people to Save The World. And the Petrova Line was named after you for it.

Kind of awesome how often people tag their grace and rocky shipping posts with "grace x rocky" or "rocky x grace" because the portmanteau names (grocky, gracerocky, rockygrace) are all used fairly regularly on non-romantic/non-sexual/non-shipping posts, and the "x" format is just so much less ambiguous and makes it so much easier to decide if I want to click the "show filtered post" button or not to check if it's actually shipping or just hiding my blorbos from me for no reason

I wish I could sleep with headphones on bc quiet and also music/audiobooks/fiction podcasts/other background noise to fall asleep to... But alas... So bulky and uncomfortable.

Not a fan of when my body decides that precision and clarity aren't important and just uses "a vague sense of antsy-ness" as a catch all for every bodily function/input it wants me to do something about. Thirsty? Too hot? Need to pee? Need to get out excess energy? Who knows! Literally could be anything

I don't think health issues should be allowed to have overlapping symptoms. Health is hard enough to navigate when your symptoms aren't the most generic list of "this could be anything" ever

Especially bad when the symptoms of something you might be experiencing overlap with anxiety. 'cus then you can't tell if you're actually having a medical issue, or just working yourself up into a placebo effect about it

No idea if this is refute by the Eridian biology doc or not, but it would be kinda funny if when Rocky tells Grace he doesn't know how long he sleeps for because there's a huge variance range, if that wasn't actually a normal Eridian thing to sleep such inconsistent amounts of time, and was actually a description of his specific current and disordered sleeping patterns from all of the everything he's been going through for the past 46 years (so then either over the course of knowing a gradually less distressed Rocky, or after getting to Erie and learning more about other Eridians, Grace gradually starts to realize they actually do have a normal consistent sleeping pattern most of the time)
