if you know you've been overeating and binging a lot lately DO NOT jump straight into hard restrictions!!!
you're just gonna end up hungry all the time and binging again cuz your body is used to big portions of food! you have to let your stomach shrink or you're just gonna hurt yourself! if you know you're eating a lot even 2/3 of that is a good beginning, and you can work your way up where you want to be, without pain and thinking about food 24/7! (I know what I'm talking about, been there, done that) also it helps keep your housemates away, they WILL notice if you go from eating EVERYTHING to eating 2 apples a day.
start slowly, take your time, even if that means weeks or months, remember - your health and mental state is more important. doing it this way also helps with not going back in 2 days.

If 2 people are drowning, it doesn't matter if one of them was pushed, and if one of them jumped in on their own accord, they're both still drowning.
Same thing with your ed. Just because you knew what you got into, does not mean your ed isn't valid.
If one of those 2 people was drowning in 5 feet of water and the other was drowning in 10 feet, they're both still drowning.
Same thing with your ed. Just because someone is "sicker" doesn't mean your ed isn't valid.
I'm saying this for awareness even though I struggle with validating myself, it just needs to be said.
