does anyone have like a video or document or anything that explains mcrs alter egos the black parade? after watching their performance in seattle i am way more interested in their sorytelling and lore then i ever have been. I watched i video about the story of the black parade but i didn't see much about the band "the black parade" i need help

Prior to now I don't THINK it was deeper than that they were The Black Parade, touring their self-titled album and also covering some of MCR's hits, and they retired after performing in Mexico. On the album, The Black Parade took The Patient to the afterlife (possibly because his happiest memory was seeing a marching band with his father).

New lore, under cut for minor tour spoilers (most of it is stuff we already knew before the Seattle show):

After retiring, the band was taken to the MOAT, apparently a prison or gulag-style labour camp

A propaganda station in DRAAG said they were thought dead in a fire. It's unclear if this was what everyone outside of DRAAG thought, or if it was internal propaganda to cover up their imprisonment

They were brought out of prison to tour The Black Parade's self-titled album again - apparently the Dictator is a fan, or considers it a patriotic album.

Their uniforms are slightly different. Gerard has the same ropes that apparently indicate leadership that the Dictator has (sorry, I'm not up on uniform terms, don't know what these are called). Mikey has a purple heart, possibly because he was KIA in the Ghost Of You music video. Ray has a red sash, possibly because he was a non-combatant (medic) in the Ghost Of You music video.

There is a Danger Days video where a skeleton wearing a black parade uniform is seen. I personally think this was just a throwaway Easter egg for the fun of it, but it's a key part of the increasingly popular theory that TBP was always a prequel to DD and that this tour is meant to tie them together.
