Well here we go again! The iggleverse! Another iteration of it at least and this is the first generation and hopefully, this time at least, not the last!
I don't play with any specific rules as usual, I just play for fun and let my mind run wild with character ideas and plot ideas and yes, we are starting off with three women again. Each, I hope, will be fun to follow for different reasons and maybe you just want to follow one? Well that's cool too! Any ways, there won't be much here, I've never been good with summaries and such and any ways I prefer people to just jump right in so, if that's what you wish to do, the directory is here!

"Death is completion and a new beginning, sister. Prolonged suffering is an end," she said. I do not understand. And I do not understand the need for these graves everywhere before sims start living here. But there are trees. Trees and water. I contributed to a sixam with trees and running water. My merman husband can swim in something that is not manufactured by my sibling. My calypso friends can eat fruits and meat. I made something acceptable. I made something meaningful.
Ravenwood at night: peaceful, eerie, and definitely not haunted. Probably. Escorted home by my emotional support omen.

Tense Walk animation.”
End of spooky walk. 10/10 restored by balcony himbo energy.
Dorothy and Miguel met in the library – the usual place in the corner with the tables and chairs. Upon seeing his face, her cheeks flushed and a wave of pleasant tingles trickled down her spine.
‘Hey,’ she said, sitting down.
‘Hey,’ said Miguel. His shoulders tensed. There was a stiffness in his delivery. More so than usual. Unease slithered through her. Was Miguel losing interest? Damn it, Dorothy. It’s all that running away that’s done it. Who’d want a date with cold feet?
For a moment neither of them spoke. With each silent second, Dorothy became increasingly certain that something was up.
‘What are we?’ Miguel eventually broke the silence, avoiding her gaze as if the question scared him.
‘Two people on a date, I suppose,’ she said, apprehension laced through her tone. She wasn’t exactly sure what he was asking.
‘That’s not what I mean,’ he muttered. He was looking at her now, brown eyes vulnerable, as if he was made of glass. ‘Sometimes it feels like you don’t want to be around me.’
‘That’s not true,’ she said. ‘I love being around you, I just…it’s just…’ her words dried up. How would she put this?
‘It’s okay. I understand if you don’t want to –’
‘No, I do!’ Dorothy’s voice was strained. ‘I like you, Miguel. It’s my past I don’t like. I hate thinking about it, talking about it. I hate simply remembering it.’
Silence echoed throughout the library. They avoided each other’s gaze, as the weight of Dorothy’s words sat in the air like a grey cloud.
‘I’m sorry,’ he said. ‘I know what it’s like to have painful memories.’
‘Like your ma?’
Miguel nodded. ‘And losing my two best friends.’ He had mentioned how the death of Princess Gema and the disappearance of the friend they shared had sent him into a period of despair.
Perhaps Miguel did know what it was like to lose yourself to grief. But he would never know what it was like to have gaps in your past. To have fractions of memories, a recurring sense of terror, and a feeling that if you told anyone, something bad would happen. Miguel didn’t know what that was like.
‘Thanks,’ she said. ‘I appreciate it.’
She observed his doe-shaped eyes, the way he smiled at her like she was someone special, someone safe – someone she knew she wasn’t. And yet, she so wished she was.
‘I’m thinking,’ he said. ‘I’d like to introduce you to my papá.’
What? This soon? It was like a shock to her body. Her cheeks flushed. Her heart jolted. Was she really hearing what she thought she was hearing?

Remaining time: 5 days 21 hours
This is just a poll made for fun and just has me curious which story you all are most interested in! Won't affect the order they are posted in or anything like that!
Meet Nayara, a genius! At least when it comes to things like math, science, and just knowledge in general, but perhaps not when it comes to life!
Also, meet her cat, Cashie! I believe he's been given this name because Nayara here has had some struggles making cash in her young life, so perhaps she thinks this might give her some good fortune? Either way, he's adorable, he's a cat, what else could you ask for?
Nayara has two sisters, one younger, and one older. Her eldest sister, Soledad, does what she can to guide her younger sister onto a cleaner path because she worries that Nayara could be doing more. You see, despite Nayara being a genius, she's refused to pursue higher education and her plan for life currently is to just...see what it throws at her. Soledad thinks she should be a little more ambitious but it's hard to argue with a genius.
One person life throws at her is a photographer named Henry Wooten, who runs into her at a local library. Henry spots her and thinks she has potential to be a model or more specifically, to help him build his resume.
Nayara decides it could be something she tries, so why not? What could it hurt?
As for her hobbies, outside of learning as much as she can from reading random books here and there, she does enjoy yoga and fitness. She once was the nerdy girl at school that no one wanted to associated but now? Well, now, she believes she is something else entirely. The total package. Beauty, brains, and also a cat momma! Perhaps she is the perfect sim?
Nayara wanted to move far away from her family because she wanted to challenge herself and give herself a fresh start.
She does wonder though if Evergreen Harbor was the right choice for her because the neighbors, in this case, a man named Theodore Luke, is a little too eager to remind her of the water initiatives that they all must adhere to in her new neighborhood.
Annoying but when in Monte Vista, as they say...
Or perhaps, when in Evergreen Harbor, just throw your junk on the ground because no one else cares to clean it up.
For a moment, Nayara wonders if she could help this place, become its hero, save the air and water and become a local legend...but maaan that would be so much effort for her and it would also require her getting a little dirty, which she is definitely not interested in.
And she is not one to be seen swimming in actual garbage. No no no, she does it once and once is more than enough. It looks like, at least for now, someone else might have to save this town, Nayara is not the one for it!
But the idea of posing for pictures and seeing what could come of it definitely appeals to her. Perhaps she has the talent for it? Just because she's intelligent doesn't mean she has to become a doctor or scientist or engineer, maybe she could take an entirely different path?
Henry certainly offers her down it. He'll take a headshot of her and use it for his resume but she could use it for hers too...but Henry isn't only interested in taking her picture, he's also interested in taking her on a date!
She's at least open to that just as well!
Still, something must be done. Nayara is struggling financially, not able to really afford much of anything and doesn't have a job. She wonders if she is on the right path and if maybe she should go to college after all but then again...it's only been a week...
Eventually, she does have her picture taken, a professional picture that comes out well, better than what she could have done on her own at least, and a picture she can't wait to share on her socials, eager for the reaction and the attention it might give her. Something she's not used to getting but something she knows she'd enjoy.
With the picture out there on social media and many liking it and wanting to see more. Nayara decides to see where this whole picture taking thing might take her! Hopefully, she'll find some kind of way to get a few more simoleons in her bank! Perhaps this Sofia woman who she just meets online can help her out?
How will Nayara make Simoleons or will she just be homeless in a week?
[Redacted name]: There is no need to call me Lord at this time, Simzuri Nebula. Honesty is preferred. Now, do you understand that you will need to take responsibility for Simnekro? And any sixams you generate with her strength?
Zuri: I understand. But is it that simple? Kenny's Elohim -
Sumire: Simple?
[Redacted name]: You've been among them for too long, Sumire. You've forgotten how shortsighted they are. It is not simple, Zuri. Yes, I will help you master the skills that you need for terrestrial cores but maintaining those cores? Keeping the necessary balance between your lifeforce and your sister's? I have no intention to assist there. I am in agreement with -- what do you say? Kenny's Elohim? O Sumire, are you certain this is the path you want to take? A sixam-generator with no reverence for the lifeforce of your former peers?
Sumire: She has a pure heart. She's proven it by refusing to ignite her Sixam-Jupiter. I have been among them for too long but I have not forgotten my former peers. I do not know why you are ignoring her lack of devotion to you but I know you are here because there is no evil in her heart.
[Redacted name]: I would not say no evil but she desires goodness. I can work with a desire for goodness. But the Elohim dichotomy still remains. And Simnekro --
Sumire: I will do my best in my limited form.
[Redacted name]: It is not in your control... but the callistos confirm that it is time for my Vodouisants in this simulation to stop hiding behind those that twisted Elohim's scrolls. They need the same freedom as the followers of [Redacted names]. On this new sixam -
Zuri: It will be as in the early days of Nova. I promise.
[Redacted name]: I do not need a repeat of your past life. I am giving a new season to those that call me Lord. This will be our only interaction as long as your heart is as it is. So listen clearly, Simzuri Nebula. To manipulate a terrestrial core, you must [redacted]. To generate a new one that is blessed with my lifeforce, you must [redacted].
-------
Simnekro: Zuri. You're earlier than I expected, sister.
From the corner of Francesca's mind, she thought of Virginia and how strawberry ice cream was her favourite flavour. But she was also thinking about how cute Bradley was and how happy she was to be his girlfriend.
"OK, LILITH! Play time is over! Go to the club!" Cass shouted over to her housemate, while she uploaded the latest VLOG to their website.
Cass didn't want Lilith to get abducted by some UFO, like her mom Bella years ago. Though, as the VLOG finished uploading, Cass sat there and wondered whose eyes would be watching this…and THEM.
Meanwhile...
Forgotten Hollow
"OOH! A new episode of Goth Galore just popped up!" Lily Thorn squealed with excitement, like a little kid. She and hubbie Clover Thorn had moved to this dark fringe of a neighborhood, as she was totally fascinated with vampire lore. "I wonder what my VLOG kiddos have in store for me this evening."
"LILY! Will you PLEASE stop wandering around the square at night!" Clover shouted from the front porch of their spooky home. He barely took two steps out the front door, as two giant strands of garlic hung from each side, warding off any neighborhood vampire.
"BE THERE IN A SEC, DAHLING!!" Lily answered, though her eyes were still glued to the VLOG on her phone, and NOT her surroundings.
"I love you, Lil, but I swear you're going to be the death of us both," Clover muttered under his breath, eyes still locked in on his spouse, for her own safety.
One of the immortal and noble vampires in the neighborhood, Vlad Bloodvein, was out for a midnight stroll (and a midnight snack?!)
"Good evening, Sir Bloodvein!" Lily looked up enough to acknowledge his presence, as he stopped. She somehow had her own built-in radar in that quirky head of hers, alerting her of supernatural presences.
"Oh, good evening as well, Madam Thorn!" Vlad bowed with a flourish, but grumbled to himself, as his surprise sneak attack was foiled. "This woman obviously WANTS to be one of us, but just wants to satisfy her own insatiable curiosity. Why do you tease me so...?"
"GOOD EVENING, EVERYONE!" Demetrius Troyer shouted from near their front yard, flanked by his Virtuous Vampire housemates Brandy Wood and Samantha Gratz. Vlad snarled to himself, and made his way back to his own property. "Poor Clover. But at least WE seem to be our our neighborhood watch, eh?"
"That woman is trying so hard to be like one of us, but not even close," Brandy sighed. "It's like those people that go camping, without even roughing it. What was that called again?"
"Glamping..." Demetrius chuckled to himself. "She's a poser, but still a good person, from what I see. That curiosity of hers, though..."
"GLAMPIRE!!" Samantha shouted out to her housemates, but forgot to use her inside voice. A startled Lily may have taken that the wrong way, and quickly shuffled her feet back to the house. "Get it? Funny...?"
"You need help..." Brandy rolled her eyes at her buddy.
"We get it, Samantha. Nice play on words," Demetrius gave her some credit, even laughing to himself. She did act like an airhead sometimes, but Samantha was still one of them, cursed with the same fate.
"Fine...good one, Sammie," Brandy relented. "I'm thinking about heading into the city, to see if I can score us some meat department blood-age at the back of the supermarket. Don't wait up."
"Back before sunrise, or call if you get stuck there until sunset," Demetrius cautioned her. "And thanks for doing that."
"Be on the lookout for OUR next door neighbors, though we'll hold down the fort, so they can't do too much trouble," Sammie winked at her, as everyone had their missions for the night, then it was silence.
"VLAD BLOODVEIN!" Elle Vampiro scolded him, when he returned. She was the leader and sire of this Noble Vampire household, who were residents of the biggest mansion in Forgotten Hollow. "If you're going to feed, do it as FAR AWAY from here as possible, and NOT with our neighbors. We don't need the police breathing down OUR necks."
"Our necks..." Inna Cents laughed to herself, appreciating the irony.
"Yes, Lady Elle," Vlad tensed up, accepting the blame for his actions.
"Inna, you've been way too playful the last couple nights," Elle shifted her attention to her younger counterpart, who she knew since the French occupation and migration many ages ago.
"Oh, if you must know..." she had a creepy grin on her face.
"We must! We must!" Vlad replied, lightening the mood again.
"I went back to Willow Creek for Weekend of Roses," Inna explained, as Elle knew where this was going. "Back to The Wild Rose, where I used to dance, and where you sired me all those years ago. Watching that live dance show brought back all those memories, and..."
"And WHAT, do tell?" Elle urged her to continue.
"I saw one woman, who bore an eerie resemblance to myself," Inna went on, as Vlad gasped. "I believe her name was Eden. Oh, how I would have loved to be her sire, and sink my teeth into that gorgeous neck of hers. But alas, THAT detective woman was scoping out the whole club. It would have been more trouble to us, in the end."
"Ah, but that does make me feel all nostalgic, when I turned you," Elle hummed to herself. "I would have loved to see this Eden on stage, if she indeed resembled your beautiful self. But you were right in proceeding with caution. First it's those virtuous vampires next door keeping an eye on us, and we don't need the police, too."
"Plus, we're still at war with THEM," Vlad added, as they all nodded.
"You damn right you are," one woman overheard, concealed with a special cloaking spell. She had heard enough, but it was time to get back to her own neck of the woods.
Sims In Bloom: Generation 3 Pt. 58 (Green Harbour Day)
By Green Harbour Day, the pollution in Port Promise wasn't getting any better. Lavender had some plants growing and passed her recent NAP inspection, but the smog from the robots was as bad as ever. And the sticky heat of summer only made things worse.
At least skies were blue in Grims Quarry, where the new Maker Space opened to casual fanfare on Evergreen Harbour's favourite holiday, but most of the town came out to enjoy it - even as they dealt with the effects of pollution from the increasingly busy cargo port.
Brea's art adorned the walls inside and out, with big murals to brighten up the space and inspire creativity within. The easel with views of the limestone quarries was her idea, because art added beauty without damaging a home's eco-footprint, and today she was inspired to complete a commission for a collector in Dambele.
Lavender gave Brea a grateful hug. "You're the best," she said. "I can't believe how much work you put in for our community space!"
Local builder, Layne Wise, laughed at their side. "She's practically a local at this point. She was a great help to the tail end of the project, and her art really brings the place to life!"
Rubi Peralta Herr showed up with her husband, Matteo, sporting a nasty-looking skin ailment that made the locals turn and stare - and run off to give them space.
"It's not contagious," she said. "Doctors say it's from the pollution in Port Promise. I'm on a treatment regimen and it should fade away in a few days, but hopefully this community project is the first of many to make things better around here."
"We still thought it was a good idea to send the boys to stay with family after one of Theo's first words was 'robo-mama,'" admitted Matteo. "But we had to be here to support the reopening of the Quarry Building."
Lavender silently cursed her brother and his robots as a sense of urgency tugged at her, but she knew the spirit of the day and changed the subject. "I've been meaning to ask what you charge for recording sessions, if you're not too busy."
Matteo smiled. "Depends what you need and how long you need the equipment for."
"I'd bring my own violin, but I don't have a way to record a professional demo. I wouldn't need it for longer than an afternoon, but apparently Simflix is looking for music for their take on the Buzz of Desire book series, and my younger sister is obsessed with it."
"I've never really produced anything classical," he admitted. "And Buzz of Desire is a little commercial for my tastes..."
"It would be more of an afternoon pushing buttons. I doubt they'd want anything from me when they'll get submissions from artists with actual hits - I only found out about it because my brother's stepmother is Miko Landgraab, and she's working with Layne Coffin on a demo. She wanted to work with me, too, but I told her I was too busy to go to the city to help her out, but it's really because I don't want to work with the Landgraabs...But I thought I could give the demos to my sister as a gift."
"It's a great book series, Matteo," encouraged his wife. "And it's just a demo. If it comes to anything, they'll probably call some bigwig record producer in Del Sol Valley who likes working with major labels, anyway."
"I'll check my studio schedule and let you know when I have some room," he agreed. "If you can record a little of what you've got on your phone and send it over, I can plan ahead a little."
Lavender grinned. "Will do. I'm a little freaked out performing when I know people are watching, so if you don't even want to be in the room while I play, that wouldn't even bother me," she said with a laugh.
When Caiden and Scotti arrived at the renovated space, Lavender the Watcher had a terrible idea. One of Lavender's recent knitting projects had turned into a complete mess, leaving her with a real forsaken sweater! The quality was so poor, she could never sell it. It was so bad, it would ruin her brand even if she donated it to charity.
So she decided to gift it to her dumb old violin teacher, Caiden Huntington, as subtle payback for his attempt to blackmail money from her Landgraab older brother back in high school. To make sure he didn't think the gift was an insult, she also gave him and Scotti a knitted yellow and blue sweater for Jaimie to wear in cooler months.
She smiled when Caiden accepted the gifts with pure gratitude, unburdened by guilt and that hideous mess of a sweater. (That's them in the sweaters Lavender gave them, above, with Scotti and baby Jenny. Scotti's departed grandmother, Ivana, is in the portrait with teenage Scotti to Jaimie's left.)
Knox arrived late with Xochitl Luna and her daughter, Karmine Sullivan, but the de facto project manager had a good excuse. "Xo started in the league semi-finals this morning and Karmine needed someone cheering with her in the stands!"
"They were a lucky cheering section, since we won," said Xo with an affable smile.
Karmine had already made her way to the children's play area, where she found Jaimie Huntington hogging the cardboard dollhouse. She watched quietly for a few minutes, until she rolled her eyes and spoke. "You're doing it wrong. You're supposed to put the baby in the bedroom closest to the parents."
Jaimie looked around as if a phantom had spoken, scowling when Karmine Sullivan walked into view. Only the most annoying girl in their whole school.
"Don't talk to me," she sniped, which caught the attention of her mother, Scotti. And lo and behold, Lavender didn't even see it when Scotti had an autonomous talk with her daughter for being mean!
But Brea did, and she made small talk with the Huntingtons for a while, before the adults left Jaimie and Karmine to find some common ground and play cardboard dolls together.
Lavender was busy inside, getting tips from one of Knox's mothers, Blossom Greenburg, to make a cylindrical candle. The process itself seemed fairly simple, but it took ages to set, and Lavender found herself lost in thought about her brother and his robots.
He was making the residents sick and he had to know. Lavender couldn't believe that he didn't know, or didn't care. She got so lost in thought, she almost burned her first attempt at a candle.
She wasn't sure she was cut out for the lulls of candle-making. With knitting, violin, or fabrication, her hands were always moving, but making candles meant a whole lot of waiting around with idle fingers.
She headed back outside, where she found Knox offering Brea a whole new job.
"We want to fundraise for more green energy projects in town, but we need someone to put together an art book we could sell to make money. We'll pay for all your materials and to get the book printed, but do you think you might want to put some art together for a coffee table book?"
"It probably means I'd have to extend my stay, and I don't want to put Lavender out for too long."
"You'll never put me out, Brea. Stay as long as you want!"
So Brea agreed to extend her stay in a place that had already begun to feel like home, grateful her best friend wasn't sick of her yet.
To celebrate Brea's new job, the girls made their way to the Caboose Bar in Port Promise for some drinks a few days later. ->

NOTE: I promise Rubi is fine, but the sky in Port Promise still sucks. I sent her to the naturopath immediately after she showed up at the Quarry Building looking like this. Their boys are toddlers now, too! They came back from visiting family once Rubi's skin ailment cleared up and immediately both demanded flash cards; that's Milo in blue and Theo in yellow.
Matteo Peralta by @matchalovertrait and Rubi, Milo, and Theo Peralta Herr by @perolesims appear courtesy of both.
My food is gone, and Marvel still sits there as if waiting for my answer. I can no longer use a full mouth to ignore him, so I pull out my phone instead.
Tambara: It’s a little late. I should probably head home.
Marvel: Okay, I’m going upstairs. Good seeing you again.
He gets up from the table and walks away slowly. I came here to see him — that much is obvious. He knows that, and I know that. But I’m not quite ready to let go of the charade.
Tambara: It was good to see you again.
He continues his stride, and I stand up, trying to decide. I can keep the game going and go home. Or face the fact that this guy intrigues me and follow him up the stairs.
It's late and I'm tired and I don't want to start a whole conversation at this time of night. Let's just see what next week brings. Hopefully, some simoleons…
As for the picture, he's already sent me an entire folder of it. Hundreds of versions of the same head shot basically. They all look the same to my untrained eyes.
I decide to just post one on my social bunny and almost instantly, a couple of minutes even, I see a few likes and even a comment? It's from a woman named Sofia Montes and one look at her profile tells me she's a model as well, a type of model, any ways.
She sends me a private message soon after liking the comment and complimenting the picture but honestly, I don't feel like responding right now. Maybe I'll chat with her tomorrow.
