Description of workshop created by me aimed at developing ATL skills
Activity Description:
1st part
The activity will start by introducing a ball, which will be thrown in a random order between participants. If one receives the ball they would tell one thing that they are grateful for today (i.e. the day the workshop takes place). It does not necessarily should be an intimate thing, since it will be shared in front of all classmates. The thing can be connected to a person, event or come from one’s mind. For example, ‘I am grateful for my mindset today’, even though they might not know the provenance of this overall good state of mind.
2nd part
If there will be enough time, the order will be reversed, and each person will have to recall what the colleague from whom they received the ball for the first time told.
Important
The host of the workshop will start in the 1st part and end the 2nd part. Emphasized ATL skills will be written on the board

The specific ATL skills developed include:
Affective skills: Managing emotions, self-motivation and Thinking Positively - By saying the things we are grateful for, we get to know our positive emotions while applying a positive mindset and self-motivating ourselves
Collaboration skills: Listening to others - In the second part when participants will have to recall the previous person’s thought, they will have to use listening skills to remember it. It also develops focus and concentration.
Communication through interaction and language: using non-verbal communication to pass the ball and verbal to formulate the thing we are grateful for
