the uchiha acquiescing to a lack of representation in konoha in response to hashirama's goodwill is a direct prallel to nagato, obito, and sasuke (🤮) responding to naruto's goodwill.
Seriously, what were the uchiha thinking? Did they really agree to a mutual alliance in which they had no political representation?
Hashirama convinced himself and Madara that through the power of goodwill and friendship alone they will create a fair and prosperous society for both of their clans and anyone else who joins. but in the formation of the village, they had no contract that demanded equal power between the senju and uchiha? a council, or a mandatory switch in hokage?
It's such ridiculous foresight. Hashirama's charisma convinced them to forgo basic enforcements of legal and systematic equality. What would happen when Hashirama is not in power? You don’t even have to look far. Tobirama, hashirama’s brother and right-hand-man was a raging racist. Like seriously, you didn’t think to put in place ANY measures of equality in the constitution?
It's the same concept as everyone relying on Naruto's charisma to keep peace. like geez, they took "God of Shinobi" TOO far for Hashirama
