I'm not gonna sit on some high horse and pretend like I haven't absolutely wanted to claw out some junkrat's eyes for existing and spreading their vitriol onto me, because I have. I have very much wanted to scream and shout and uninvited junkrats from my birthday party and tell them their moms are whores because they killed me for the 62626367879717272th time this match and its still 1st point and also I just got off work. like I totally agree this page should exist,
junkrat is, imo, incredibly easy to counter in all roles and comps. even though he is so versatile and can be poke/brawl/dive or any combo of these, you can counter each specific junkrat you meet simply because they cannot be all of these things at the same time.
are they being a little bitch and playing poke from halfway across the map? (valorant moment) swap sombra or echo and find that mf. or swap kiriko on support and swift step after killing him from mid range.
are they playing the most annoying in-your-face dive character? swap Reinhardt, charge past them, kill both supports, turn around, eviscerate that mf. bonus points if you solo shatter. or iliari with outburst + 5 shots to the skull. maybe even widow from farther back and kill him when he dives your team? unsure about that one tho
if they play a medium brawl, they're at mid range which is where I think junkrat really sucks. swap soldier and beat the shit out of him, swap sojourn and beat the shit out of him, swap cassidy and beat the shit out of him, sw
you get the point, and tbh countering is not everything, but it's a start and you don't need to rip out your hair against every junkrat. peace and love ♡
