I think the purest form of love is just wanting someone to notice life with you. "taste this. look at that. hear this song." again and again. until you can't imagine noticing life without them.
I will never apologise for entertaining the concept of hopepunk. I don't care if people think it's cringe, or whatever. Celebrating the small wins that give hope is vital to the fight at large as without them, people burn out.
Hope is never superfluous.
If healing and breaking the cycle makes you the black sheep of the family, then wear that title proudly.
