my design headcanon: an old stuffed butcher that is tearing apart at the seams. his stuffing is so old that it no longer holds its soft white color but a dingy grey, and he constantly has to shove the stuffing back into the holes and stitch it up. he doesn’t get a lot of visitors to the meat counter, but he’s a friendly ol coot. one of his arms is slightly shorter due to a tear, which he patched up but not the best.

first as always, have a little sketch~draw small or draw big and shrink down!
then begin the lines, you wanna zoom right on rl close and place each pixel deliberately. if your program has pixel grid view that is rlly helpful!~ in photoshp its under view->show->pixel grid
u can color ur lines now or l8r or nvr, just w/e u wanna do bc ur the boss
then i made another layer for shading, multiply ftw. similar to lining u wanna zoom right in and place each pixel of the outline of the shading so u can bucket fill the rest. have anti-alias off to keep it pixel clean
and then you can color all ur colors under the shading layer and you got it!~again for details like Merlin’s stripes/color change just zoom in and go pixel by pixel

There’s a groomer that has colored his dog after being inspired by a fire lupe. This is awesome and reminds me of the time when we had flames on everything. (Also, this is pet safe color)
