‧˚꒰🍷꒱༘‧— my name is Layla! I am 17 years old and have been into shifting since 2020, I have not shifted yet (my own fault - due to lack of trying) but my best symptoms occurred when i was active in the community so hoping shifting is still a thing on tumblr!

‧˚꒰🍷꒱༘‧— my main dr is the vampire diaries, i am a siphon witch that is unaware of my abilities though not related to the gemini coven - i’ll probably do a full post of my backstory but my mothers coven used experimental magic and found a way to create the siphons purposefully after encountering the gemini coven, i have lots of potential love interests but endgame is klaus.

‧˚꒰🍷꒱༘‧— in the past i would say i was much more spiritually open, in meditation i would reach this state where my heart would race before my body became numb pretty fast and easily, currently i am having trouble with my meditation but i assume this is due to my mindset more than anything, i also would often lucid dream and i’m not entirely sure how as i didn’t put much effort into it - i’m hoping i am able to get back to this place spiritually

˚ʚɞ｡⋆ my name is Odette Swan and my story is the swan princess with some tweaks that leaves me on the run in the enchanted forest for years like Snow but I eventually settle and live with Red & Granny. In fairytale land i’m very shy & reserved so in Storybrooke i’m reckless & outgoing, similar to Ruby, I also live with her and Granny still.

˚ʚɞ｡⋆ my true love is hook, we have a slow burn romance and he helps me find myself after the curse breaks.

klaus x lilith. ཐི⋆♱⋆ཋྀ

‧˚꒰🍷꒱༘‧— not much has changed in my shifting journey and i don’t want to keep repeating the same diary entries so here’s a cute dr moodboard for a change lol :). my shifting attempts keep being the same - focused but absolutely no symptoms whatsoever. in my meditation i was able to detach much more though! not fully but i’m getting there.

‧˚꒰🍷꒱༘‧— i used the 24 minute void state meditation by alunir meditations. i felt much more relaxed, focused and in control than yesterday! i was able to detach more but not fully, my heart raced for a period of time which was common for me while attempting to shift in the past, i calmed myself and remained in meditation. i could visualise my dr very well.

‧˚꒰🍷꒱༘‧— during my actual attempt i was calm and concentrated but experienced no symptoms, i want to push through this because symptoms don’t determine whether i shift but again i left it a little too late so went to sleep instead.

‧˚꒰🍷꒱༘‧— this is a side blog!! overall this has been insightful, i’m happy i’m getting back into detachment, i used to detach so easy and i’m hoping i will find my way back.

shifting diary ཐི⋆♱⋆ཋྀ

‧˚꒰🍷꒱༘‧— i used a 10 minute meditation by great meditation first to get me to concentrate, something interesting i noticed was that my head was tilting back, i assumed this was related to my posture but even after repositioning to support my neck i could feel it tilting up, i’ve experienced similar symptoms while attempting such as feeling my body being dragged into my mattress and i think i may have experienced this before?

‧˚꒰🍷꒱༘‧— i used the 24 minute void state method by alunir meditations to detach, during this meditation i had a period of getting very emotional which i haven’t experienced before, this meditation really helped me visualise and feel my dr although i didn’t detach and was always aware of my body, i also experienced my heart racing and eyes flickering.

‧˚꒰🍷꒱༘‧— during my actual attempt i was very concentrated which is great because in the past my thoughts would drift but i had no symptoms, today i’m going to attempt earlier because by the time i started i just wanted to sleep and didn’t have the motivation to shift.

‧˚꒰🍷꒱༘‧— this is a sideblog!! i’m really curious if anyone else has experienced emotional intensity or head tilting back during meditation and please give me recommendations!

my the vampire diaries dr ཐི⋆♱⋆ཋྀ

‧˚꒰🍷꒱༘‧— my name is Lilith Adrienne, I was born in Mystic Falls, Virginia to a founding family father & witch mother. I am well-liked but keep to myself, outside of partying when I come alive, though I am extremely close to Elena, Bonnie & Caroline who I grew up with. I am a siphon witch to the Seville Coven though am completely unaware of the supernatural, I also am an equestrian and host a high school radio show going over unsolved mysteries!

‧˚꒰🍷꒱༘‧— my father’s side of the family were generational supernatural hunters, often becoming members of augustine later in life. damon salvatore, of course, killed them, leaving my father behind as part of his revenge. my mother’s side were experimental witches; while not necessarily dark, they did not respect the balance and constantly pushed magical norms. after encountering the gemini coven, they became obsessed with the idea of siphons and performed many rituals until two were finally born into the coven. they took katherine in for a period of time, until klaus came for her and killed the coven; my mother and katherine escaped. my parents met not long after the demise of their families at university, where they were studying psychiatry. they eventually married and settled down. my father reopened his father’s psychiatric clinic, which had been shut since his death, and they both began working there. but katherine appeared once again, asking for magical help, which my mother obliged. my parents never spoke about the supernatural with each other, but after my mother became pregnant, they mutually abandoned it — my mother placing her magic into an amulet and my father discarding most of his hunting tools as well as his position at augustine. unbeknownst to my mother, klaus knew she had helped katherine once more and waited until i was due to take his revenge. after i was born, he compelled the nurses and drained my mother of blood. i was left only with her amulet, which she had wrapped around me as the nurses took me away. my father, knowing deep down this was supernatural in nature, always resented me. he returned to augustine and to hunting. he barely looks my way unless we have to present a good face in public.

‧˚꒰🍷꒱༘‧— i’ve never officiously dated anyone but have had a situationship with tyler, we will begin dating sometime after vicki dies, i will help him through his werewolf transition but we will break up after he becomes sired to klaus and harms me. my endgame is klaus though🫣.
